Airpea offers so much more than Chromecast!
When I attended the 2013 Ces show I stopped by the MIPS suite and noticed they were demonstrating a device called AirPea(a prototype at the time) manufactured by iPPea,Inc.,a US based company.The device plugged into the TV's HDMI socket and powered by the same TV's USB socket.The guy doing the demonstration said the unit runs Android 4.03 and above for any Android based cell phone or tablet pc.He took my Samsung Galaxy cell phone and downloaded an AirPea apk from Google play store and proceeded to show me how to transfer the data (the videos,photos,music,and documents)from my cellphone to the big screen TV. The resolution was good! We then proceeded to use my cellphone as a mouse and remote control.He also showed me how you speak and see the words or sentences on the TV. Another nice feature is the micro Sd slot expandable up to 32gb and 2USB slots on the AirPea.Since the product wasn't going to be in production until this month I bought the Chromecast and returned it the same day because its' features were so few compared with the AirPea.I called iPPea USA who said the product is now available on Amazon.com and I placed my order.Can't wait to experience the same fun as I had at Ces.Bernie
