Justified high price, legitimate certification.
TL;DR - Silkland Cables are the real deal! Buy if you're serious about 4K viewing or high refresh rate gaming. When I normally hear claims like "certified this" or "gbps that" I usually don't take it seriously, but at the prices Silkland are asking I had to be sure this wasn't snake oil. VESA Certified? Yessir they are, you can check the VESA organization's website and find Silkland as one of their business partners. When I need high-grade cables that need to get the job done, I know I'm coming back to Silkland for more. The price is worth the peace of mind. I'm not worried this cable will fail on me if the organization that sets the standards trusts the company enough to list them on the official website. Keep in mind that VESA works with big players in the electronics world, so their approval is valuable.

It's worked
The one and only full fuctional DP 2.1 cable, working perfectly fine with Samsung 57" and AMD RX 7800xt. No flickering, no artifact. (you need to buy the correct cable lenght that must not exceed 6.6 ft) Moreover, if you are a dual screen worker. you can connect more 4K 240hz display (using RTX 5080 or 5090 instead) and you'll get triple 4k240hz equivalent work area. This is the best possible gaming and working situation for 2025.

Fantastic for Displayport 2.1
Very high quality cables. I had to buy two to use with a Dell UP3218K monitor as it does not support Display Port 2.1 (80 Gb/s) yet.

Good quality, cheap price ,but not cheap made.
Works great, gives nice picture, and is not the cheapest but it is much better than most in this range. So far it has tested okay for all the speeds the cable is rated for.

Working great on two Ultrawides
Using this cable on two ultra wides (LG GX9 and Alienware AW3423DW). I only needed a tiny bit more length than the included cables to route them cleanly. Gave me enough length without any issues getting max refresh rate, max resolution, and HDR.

Low Grade Trash
Within seconds of hokking up my screen flickered and went black but came back on a few seconds later. About an hour later same thing happened except it wouldnt come back on for a long while. Switched to other ports on graphics card and pc and still nothing. Got out my old cable that this replaced with a broken end and everything has been perfect since. Its been 6 hours now and everything with my old janky cable is perfect. Just for kicks i got this new turd cable back out and hooked it up. 5 minutes and lost signal again. Read the title of this review. It speaks for itself.

Keep Away from Power Strip
Purchased for 240mhz, DP2.1 monitor. After a week of screen flickering and numerous driver troubleshooting to no avail, accidently discovered the cable was resting 3 inches from a power strip. Moved the cable from the immediate area of the power strip ...no more flickering! Runs great. Generally, not a good idea to be close to power strip, but not sure whether shielding on this cable is as beefy as other brands might offer. With that caution would buy again.
