I am really impressed with the quality of the content on this book. As a self learning student, I was able to improve many subjects and meet many other elements I didn't even knew that existed.I have only one disappointment: many of the musical fragments and examples throught the explanations are only found in this Anthology book, and not on the CD that comes with this edition.Even thought, most of the examples you can find on the internet or even try to play it to listen to it....anyway... I liked it a lot !!! Highly recommed!

I highly recommend this book.It covers all of the basics in an easy to understand format with many practical exercises.The best thing about this is the price. You really get your return on investment with this one.I highly recommend this product.

The book was pretty much brand new when I got it. There is slight wear and tear along the edges of the hard cover, but that is to be expected with this kind of textbook. No more than you would see after one semester of use. All of the pages are in tact and clean. I ordered the fastest shipping because I had already started the class, and it got to me promptly in 2 days. Very satisfied.

This is the textbook The Musician's Guide to Theory and Analysis 2nd Ed. This helped me get through the first 2 semesters of Music Theory and will help me get through my next 2 semesters of Music Theory, unless I'll need a new book. l enjoyed the way this book has bullet points to emphasis parts of each chapter along with a summary with questions and terms for each chapter to enhance the learning experience!!!

Lovely. Good study material for the years ahead.I was expecting this to arrive together with its workbook that came rather about a week later and poorly package, already opened. Am wondering if everything was intact.I was also expecting this coming with its "Anthropology", which has since not arrived. Am wondering why the delay.

Maybe one of the best music theory book ever!!!Every concept is covered and explained in this book. The CD is very helpful, and many references and examples are found inside the book.
