2 Set Zebra DNA Luxfer L6X Aluminum CO2 Tanks with CGA320 on/off Valve

The cylinder delivered is not made by Luxfer as advertised. Luxfer is a well known brand. Cylinders made by Luxfer would have the stamp “Luxfer” or “Lux” in some cases. The L6X cylinders are made in the US, so they should definitely have Luxfer stamp on them. The cylinder I received does not have any vendor marking. When I took the cylinder to my local gas shop, which is a mom-and-pop store with lots of experience with gas cylinders, they told me the cylinder I have is not made by Luxfer.With that said, there is nothing in the marking that one can tell easily the pedigree of the cylinder. It may very well in fact, be made of the same material and passed all the tests that a Luxfer L6X cylinder would. The issue I have, and the reason for the low rating, is that the product markings on the cylinder did not match what is stated in the item description and does not match what Luxfer web site says that a genuine Luxfer cylinder would have. In fact, the cylinder, which is completely shiny brushed aluminum, does not even match the picture in the item description, which shows only the body, not the dome, is shiny.PS - the owner of my local gas shop was nice enough to do exchange my shiny and new cylinder of unknown origin with an already filled, genuine, although slightly older by 3 months, Luxfer cylinder. I jumped on that offer. I rather trust a slightly older product from a known supplier than a brand new product with unkown origin. I gave 3 star for the “Material” category since it is aluminum and passed the pressure test.

The tank is of unknown quality. It is not a luxfer it is stamped m0832 which is the DOT code for Ningbo ZhengXin Fire-Fighting Equipment Co., Ltd.The fit and finish is decent and tank appears ok. However I will likely be swapping at my local welding supply for a more guaranteed tank.Unless you dont care if your tank is a Luxfer (i.e. immediately swapping the tank), then do not purchase this. And even then, source a cheaper certified tank, because you're paying more for a well known brand when you can pay less for a certified Chinese tank.Atleast Amazon was kind enough to rectify this issue.

Very nice. Well-built and a great price. Warning! Call your local welding or gas-supply shop first becuase they may require you to exchange tanks instead of filling yours. In my case I saved $5 buying on Amazon but never actually used the tank becuase to get it filled I was required to drop off a tank (the new one from Amazon in my case) and pick up another. That's normal and standard practice just be aware that it may not be practical to keep one single tank without exchanging it at some point.

Did not receive a Luxfer tank as advertised or pictured. Received what appears to be a Made in China tank (M0832) with a manufacture date of one year ago. Should have bought a cheaper advertised no brand Made in China tank instead. Appears to be decent quality, but was planning to have a made in USA tank and refill it...oh well, at least I won't have to be concerned about swapping the tank at my local tank filling company for quicker fills.

I purchased this empty 5# aluminum cylinder and was asked to trade it in at AirGas for their 5# filled CO2 aluminum tank - Their tank looks exactly like the Amazon tank.So how much did I save? Not sure - The AirGas salesman said the tank is the most expensive part of their transaction - But AirGas does not publish their prices on-line for either filled or unfilled CO2 aluminum tanks. Various vendors sell unfilled aluminum tanks from $60 to $85 - I'm just guessing that the price for an AirGas 5# CO2 aluminum cylinder is in the $85 range. A CO2 tank is a tank is a tank - I'm not sure what I saved - maybe $0-$20+. The fact that AigGas didn't question the quality of the cylinder rates at least four stars. Plus one star for Amazon selling at a competitive price regarding other vendor's empty 5# aluminum cylinder offerings... But always shop around. :-)

works great for my sodastream. got the sodastream hose from freedomone . just by googling sodastream hose. takes you to there website they have all the sodasteam needs.the tank is smaller then expected and works good just setting on the table. don't care about the looks. it take me about a month an a half to go through it i use 16 buzzes but i think my fountain jet the reason why. i bought two tanks becuase the paint shop is 20mile there and 20 mile back. it works out great. great buy. and its non siphon hose. what you need for sodastream.

Excellent CO2 tank. Had the tank filled locally at a brewer's shop for $14. Used this with TapRite Gauges, Vinyl Tubing (used approx. 5ft., Pera Ball Lock, and Stainless Carbonation Cap (all purchased from Amazon). Set the assembly on a small table and built the box (from scrap wood) for stability. Carbonating water and a liquid ginger "beer" at 50psi.Drinking carbonated water daily! Very happy!

Although this took a while to get to me from the East coast, I am quite pleased with this brand new aluminum CO2 cylinder that I purchased along with the Milwaukee MC122 and the MA957 CO2 Regulator. These three items all work together to help me inject CO2 into my planted aquarium, keeping the pH at the level I set and helping my plants flourish while ensuring I don't overdose the CO2 and harm my finny friends. The local Liquid Air depot filled the tank for me as they ship them empty for safety reasons obviously.

Can not beat the price exchanged it for a full one at local gas supply no issues (Alberta Canada) so now have a spare for my kegerator nice to know you have co2 ready when the one hoooked up runs dry.

This is an awesome deal for a 5lb CO2 tank. Tank is brand new and works great. Was able to get it filled with no problems.
