Minimalist Ceramide Lip Balm

I get extremely, extremely chapped lips, so I am picky about these products. The ceramides attracted me since I know there is evidence for their effectiveness. The product goes on thick and stays on, which I like. It's not goopy, it's closer to a wax. If you're tried any of the lanolin based products, it's similar to those. It will take time before I know whether the ceramides have really helped to heal my lips, but this products does as good a job sealing in moisture as the best I've tried, and the price is very good. Would recommend.

Great chapstick. Love it in a pot. But yet it’s extremely thick. Pomade style thick. But when applied it hydrates and stays put for a good time

Very dense, thick but it's not that bad when it's on lips. A bit unhandy to apply cause it's in mini jar, not in a stick. I apply it on my lips overnight, then it heals cracky, rubbery lips to soft and moistened lips. Nice to put on lips as base.

My lips were extremely chapped with burning and throbbing. I tried other different brands of lip balms however my lips were getting worse. I researched what would help heal chapped lips and found Minimalist lip balm had the healing agent of ceramide. I’ve been using it for two days and my lips are finally starting to feel better. I highly recommend this product.

Not worth it with that price

It’s a great thick occlusive lip balm but it is not SPF 30 like the picture online suggests. I have two jars I only bought this one because the picture says it it’s sPF 30 the one I got does not say this…

To be very honest, I kind of hate it because it’s so thick. I feel like you should rather use Vaseline. vaseline is way better than this.

great product! only downside is the cap which always breaks

It's pretty much what the headline says. I was on oral isotretinoin for acne which made my lips extremely dry and chapped. It got to a point where my lips cracked, bled, and were generally painful. My all time favorite Neutrogena lip balm and Sebamed lip balm also failed. A friend recommended this and god... what a savior. I applied it every few hours and within 2 days the cracks had heeled, bleeding stopped, and dryness reduced to a manageable level. The texture is a comfortingly thick. The best part is that unlike other lip balms this feels more waxy than oily and therefore it stays on the lip for much longer. Even after eating or drinking it doesn't entirely go away. I've been using it multiple times a day for more than 3 months and still my jar is barely one quarter gone. So I know this is going to last. I think, it can give fair competition to more popular but highly expensive options like Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. And unlike Laneige lip balm this doesn't contain fragrance or drying ingredients. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is battling with cracked or chapped lips. This is an affordable and effective option.

Quick delivery great product

Bought this product out of desperation after having spent 2 months with inflammation around my upper lip. Everything irritated the area, sun, sweat, napkins, toothpaste, etc. Nothing fully alleviated the problem, normal lip balms, vaseline, Polysporin, a session of oral antibiotics... Started applying this product and literally the next day started to feel some relief. A week later and it was as if I'd never had any issues with my lips at all. This is a very very thick lip balm and it really stays on for quite a long time. Where I used to have to reapply on almost an hourly basis, sometimes more, I now apply about 4 times a day and just before bed. It really does the trick!

Being a man I never thought I would be using a lip balm. Since, we men often times don't pay attention to our own grooming (for lips) when compared to the girls. However, the last winter made my lips very dry and chapped. I tried some of the lip balms which were easily available on the local stores but they didn't do much at all. I was skeptic about this balm seeing its price. A man who never bought a lip balm in his life. How can you expect me to buy this high priced lip balm? Right? Well, I did! And, I can say it confidently that I made the right decision. I'm attaching some pictures. The packaging is great. A unique way designed to open the package. The small container is very handy and have an aesthetic look. The lip balm itself has a wax like texture and the moment you rub it on your lips, you'll instantly feel the difference. Those cheap lip balms don't do anything at all. Trust me when I say this but I noticed the difference by applying it just one time. The best way to use it is to apply thoroughly on your lips at night before going to bed. And, then in the morning go and look at the mirror in your washroom. You'll notice that something has changed. Your lips will feel much more healthy, and hydrated. You'll see that the original pigmentation is also coming back. The cons : I have faced only one issue here. The cap is very weak. I tightened it just a little hard and it cracked. I have attached a picture of it so you can have a look. Remember! Just don't tighten it very hard. Otherwise, it will crack. Minimalist should pay attention to the quality of caps. Container is very sturdy so, no problem with that at all. Enough with the talk. Just give it a try. Yes, it does cost a bit high compared to the other ones. But trust me this one is very effective.
