If you need a shorter strap, simply loop the strap over the branch again until you have the desired length. The extra length in the strap means you can even use this single strap to hang traditional double rope swings by looping the strap over the branch and hanging your swing from both loops. The 10 foot extra long strap is made from commercial grade polyester, the same material and design used for car seat belts. Perfect for a hammock chair!
I used this to hang a hammock chair in my tree. I was a tad skeptical if it would work out, but it was perfect! I did have to wrap it a few times, because I definitely could have gotten a shorter one. I love the fact that it doesn't damage the tree though! I love my big old maple, and sitting under it reading is now my new favorite past time!

Love that the caribeaner was nice and big, made hanging the infant swing much easier! Feels nice and sturdy and hasn't moved since we hung it up!

Sturdy and holds in place
This product is great for an outdoor swing. I placed it on a thick tree branch and hung the baby swing on it. Really easy to use.

It was a very good rope
