Callebaut, after 13 years in development, bring you Ruby chocolate to join milk, dark and white chocolate. (However, Valrhona developed a Blond chocolate so we list 5 categories of chocolate couverture, plus flavoured) Do not confuse the pink colour with a flavoured chocolate - Ruby chocolate is in a class of its own and 100% natural colour and flavour from the Ruby cocoa bean alone, with added sugar. Callebaut's Ruby Chocolate can be tempered. Kind regards, Customer Services, Chocolate Trading Co. **Q: Will it make drinking chocolate?** A: Thank you for your enquiry. A certain high street coffee shop chain were using Ruby chocolate to make a pink Hot Chocolate drink during last years Valentine's Day. We would suggest melting or softening the chocolate chips before blending/whisking with your hot liquid to ensure that the chocolate mixes in rather than leaves you with bits of hard chocolate in the drink. Kind regards, Customer Services, Chocolate Trading Co. **Q: Is this suitable for vegans?** A: Wouldn't think so since it's dairy/lactose. It's suitable for vegetarians, but I wouldn't think that if you're vegan that it would be suitable. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ruby Chocolate Chips by Callebaut - Large 1000g resealable Bag - Callebaut, Milk, Dark & White chocolate chips (3 x 1kg Bundle) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/69096031-ruby-chocolate-chips-by-callebaut-large-1000g-resealable-bag](https://www.desertcart.be/products/69096031-ruby-chocolate-chips-by-callebaut-large-1000g-resealable-bag) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
