Update: i loved this case but last night my tablet fell out of my hand while I was standing in the kitchen, linoleum floor, and the screen shattered! Case is not protective AT ALLThis case is awesome! Makes it so easy to carry and hold. Love the ability to stand it up on my lap, counter, bed... lightweight yet durable. Perfect.

I love the handle and the stands. This makes it very nice for my 3 year old. The reason I only gave 3 stars is the speaker holes are facing the back. The speakers on the fire are on the bottom. They channeled the sound to the back. Who watches a tablet from the back of the unit? You have to turn up the volume so everyone else can hear the unit but the person using it can barely hear. They had to do work to channel the sound to the back it would have been the same amount of work to channel it to the front. Poor design! Looking at other cases they seem to have the same issue. I guess I am an idiot for wanting to hear what I am watching.

I bought this for my special needs grand daughter who uses her kindle for music, movies, games and entertainment. She had an Kindle 7 that died. So made the decision to get her a 10. I absolutely needed a cover that would protect her kindle from her dropping it and it breaking. This cover is wonderful. It slips right over the kindle and she loves the "arms" on the back that allow her to sit it on her night stand, the floor or the table and watch her movies or dance to her music. One of the best items I've invested in off Amazon!

After my grandson cracked my previous Fire 10, I purchased a new one along with this case. But it should really be advertised for us older folks instead. I have arthritis in my thumbs, and when I hold my other Kindles (I have many!!), my thumbs and sometimes my index finger go to sleep or get achy. When I use this case that I purchased for my grandson to use, I don't have that problem. And being able to hold it by the handle makes it even more comfortable to use, and I don't accidently turn pages as I do when holding other readers by the edges. When I read or watch TV or videos in bed, I love that I can flip the little easel legs out and set it beside me so I can lay on my side and watch hands-free. Easier on the back! I wish they made cases like this for all Kindles!!

Case is definitely cool and protective.. stand is awesome . Handle is helpful... But the price is ridiculous for what the material is . It's just super light foam.. they're aren't many cases for the 10 so there little options but the price should be no more than 15. I would have ordered on AliExpress if I didn't need it right away..I never write reviews and usually wouldn't give a negative review over price but paying over 15 is a rip off.. still a good case but price is absurd

Had no idea how to insert the tablet until I returned to Amazon to read the reviews. The item arrived in a clear plastic zip locked bag with no instructions. But, on a positive note, all I used were two flat tip screw drivers. One for one corner and the other placed about 2 inches away in a the same corner. Once I inserted them above the dummy plastic that is kept inside, I pried it off by bending the screwdrivers outward at the same time. Took about 10 seconds to remove the insert and place my tablet in its place with no damage. Hopefully this helps others. I would recommend.

I know I havnt had this long but I love it!! The way it stands is awesome! It is also weirdly light.. Like i feel like it is lighter in this case then out on its own with no case. Maybe that it is just easier to hold. But I have arthritis and holding the tablet alone ( no case) was hard.. with this, and maybe it is just because of the handle, it is so much easier to hold! My son did point out the the lip around the glass area is not as thick/high as some of the cases intended for little kids so I would assume that if your worried your child is going to be dropping it often, the foam edge around the glass may have to be a little thicker/higher. But for adults it should take a fall fine.

First off the square piece was inside the case, and what a pain that was trying to get it out, secondly, it came in a plastic ziplock bag with no instructions on how to install the kindle, you would think it’s pretty self-explanatory but you would be wrong, The case itself is really hard rubber casing which is child friendly and I like the concept of the handle in the stand but they really should’ve did a snap and lock mechanism to safely put your candle inside rather than trying to shove one side in and then the other corner and then the other corner I thought I was going to break my Kindle which is not cheap by the way so I give it one star but I think that’s going to far they should really read designers making it user friendly.
