Easy install, smooth and solid operation
I used these with "RainDrip 052020P Drip Watering Hose, Black Polyurethane 1/2 inch". They slide on much more easily than the other connectors that I've been using for the rest of my irrigation project. There is only a single small barbed ridge to keep the hose attached. For other connectors, I've needed to heat the hose to soften it enough to slide over the ridges. That was hardly necessary with these. The hose slid on very easily. The connection is plenty long if hose clamps are needed.Quality seems okay overall. The hose didn't detach at 25 PSI (even without extra hose clamps). They aren't leaking.After scrounging up some extra hose clamps, I went out and looked at these again. They seem pretty solidly connected. I gave them a good tug and they were solidly gripping the hose. Hose clamps should not be needed .. not at 25 PSI at least.

Very good
Fits my 1/2 inch id tube securely and the valve seems well made and strong for the price. I have it connected to a 400gph water pump and its useful to use this valve to control the output of the flow.

could not find fittings like this locally!
exactly what i needed for a DIY aquarium sump. just store after store i gave up looking and just ordered from amazon!. excellent quality too. they don't feel cheap at all. i ended up using 1/2 in ID tubing with it witch was a little loose granted i know i used bigger tubing than i should have for this kind of project but a few hose clamps and all good.

Great Product
My use for these is a pull behind sprayer. I have a 7-nozzle boom. There are times when i'd like the keep the boom folded and only use the center 3 nozzles. These valves work perfectly to shut of the outside 2 nozzles on each side of the boom.Very happy with the product and price.

Great for my garden irrigation
I have found these a great asset to control my garden irrigation. They work well under low water pressure applications. I had to move my installation location from ground level to higher up on my planting boxes as I found they do not stand up well to my weed eater.

Just what they say they are
And as the ad says, there is not a "standard" 1/2" hose; so be sure to measure what you have. These fit my hose perfectly. I used them on some low pressure RV water hoses, and they worked great for that.

Fountain Flow Control
I bought this valve to install adjacent to a fountain pump. The pump had an internal regulator that failed, so rather than buy a new pump, I added this flow valve. So far it is working really well and has done exactly what I needed.

sent the wrong item
It's my fault for not opening and checking sooner, however, I was out of town and did not have a chance to do so.I went to install this item and they either sent the wrong item or their item does not actually fit. It's way too small for 1/2" tubing. Now I have a cut in my line and I'm scrambling to find the correct part.
