Durability in cold.
I like all aspects of this switch but one.That is : the durability of the insulated bottom connector plate that separate the two poles of the switch. It is quite flexible, maybe a good thing. More flexible than the NAPA device I examined. I live in what some people would consider a cold climate (lows of -20 to -40) and must be used carefully. I fear the polymer bottom plate may break if used roughly. NO problems yet. Easy to install, functions well, price is 45% of NAPA part.

Seems working, with minor flaws
As some other review said, the switch is easy to use, but the plastic base is a bit too soft.Both posts can be turned. And my issue (with my 2013 F150) is the factory negative terminal won't go all the way down on the male post of this switch even with a hammer tapping in. It can barely secure to the top of the post. Didn't see any movement for now, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Given the soft base nature, I was hesitate to tap it too hard.

Nothing will drain the battery
I used this for disconnecting the battery from any hard wired appliances while the battery was in storage. It is also hooked up to solar to trickle charge.

Frankenstien Switch
This should work great to save my battery on that old 2000 GT Pony that doesn't get driven very often. I had to do some mods on it to fit my application, but it's a pretty solid item.

I like this product so much for a quick disconnect on the negative battery terminal of our popup camper. There are no pieces to get lost. Its easy to install and easy to use. Good price. Fast shipping.

Had to remove it.
Disconnect got extremely hot when cranking engine. Afraid it would damage wiring or cause fire.

The product itself was good but I didnt like the application. I would have liked it to open horizontal instead of vertical.
