BISSELL TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner, OXY Formula, 3952

I am thoroughly impressed with this machine. It was really easy to put together, I did it myself, usually I let my husband do that, but there was no need. It is very lightweight which is one of the things I wanted. The instructions are very easy to understand but overall it’s self-explanatory. Tip – order yourself some extra Bissell carpet cleaner at the same time you’re ordering this machine. They give you two small bottles, but as much as you have to keep emptying the dirty water tank and refilling the clean tank, you will go through them quickly. I was not able to do more than just my family room with those two bottles and I still had to break out some old stuff that I had from my little green machine, see photos! I do have little green machine cleaner here, but it says it is not for anything other than the little green machine. So I used the large bottle that I had of a different brand. It worked fine for the little bit of carpet that I had left. Other than having to refill and empty it so often, I don’t have anything negative to say about this machine. I did our family room which is not very large and it’s a very high traffic area. Having three dogs, two large and one medium, the carpets get dirty very quickly. we also have four grandchildren over all the time, they are some messy little critters! The carpet that I shampooed with this is actually Kangaback (the pad is already attached to the carpet) I was worried about shampooing the carpet because of that but after doing some research, it’s no different than regular carpet. As you can see in the photos, we had quite a few stains on this carpet that I had tried to get out with the little green machine, either it didn’t work or the medium sized dog who is technically still a puppy had more accidents and I didn’t see. Either way this machine took every stain out of my carpet. At first the dirty water tank was very foamy, the more I was using it the less foam I was getting with each refill. I think because you’re supposed to use warm water and I believe my tapwater probably wasn’t warm enough yet. Eventually I just started using hot water and it seemed to have less foam. If you go with this machine, these are the things I think you should know. 1. Make sure you have extra Bissell carpet cleaner 2. Get some shoe covers so that you don’t have to walk over the carpet with dirty shoes, or get your feet wet. We already have shoe covers here that we wear when we go outside to clean up dog waste. 3. Use very warm or hot water. 4. Vacuum your floors really, really good before using this. I ran my vacuum cleaner over only one time and as you can see the photos it pulled up a lot of pet hair that I had to pick up off the carpet. 5. I had my 65” blade ceiling fan running on full blast while doing this, the carpet dried fairly quickly. I still pulled over the baby gate to keep the dogs out of there until it’s 100% dry. 6. If you have really dirty spots, you can pull the cleaner trigger and go forward and backward with it, it gives it an extra boost. The shoe covers came in so handy for me, after I thought I was done, I wanted to go back over the carpet again to make sure I got all the water sucked out And hit some high traffic areas for a second time. I wouldn’t have wanted to have done that with dirty shoes and surely not socks because my feet would get wet. The machine itself seems really durable. It’s super easy to lift off the clean water tank and the dirty water tank. I’m glad I didn’t go with the more expensive one because this one did a fantastic job for half the price of the expensive ones. And because this one is so lightweight, it was easy to maneuver it around the room and furniture. When I set it on my kitchen floor, it did leak a little bit of water, but my kitchen wet mop VAC does the same thing, I think that’s a common issue. Don’t let that deter you, it’s a great machine! In one of the photos you will see a greenish stain, that one I just noticed this morning, I think my cat might have hacked up a hairball. I pre-sprayed that with resolved carpet cleaner and let it sit until I ran this machine over it, which you will see in the video. * in the photos there are three or four different stains you will see. All gone when I am done. The last photo is after it’s cleaned and dried.

This little thing packs a punch! Cleaned the crap out of my carpets and they look amazing! It’s small but powerful 10/10 recommend ! The areas is I used it on are high traffic areas that was just DIRT! Got it ALL OUT! the suction is great! It’s small and I had to drain a few extra times! But it’s well worth it !

Used multiple times at this point. Well worth the money paid. Small tank size but just enough to do touch ups on a room at a time, deep cleans you may have to refill and dump a few times. Super easy to set up and use out of box. Lightweight and easy to clean.

Really like Bissell products. This works really well for being all plastic and lightweight. Have only used once but it did not leak. It is easy to push/use. I have nerve damage in both hands/arms and being lightweight makes all the difference in the world to my hands and ability to use. Cord length is good. Took off a star for water cleaner tank. It’s definitely small. I only have area rugs (5x7’s and 8x10’s) and I had to refill the tank just to finish 3-5x7’s and 1-8x10. Well worth it though!

Owned many Carpet shampooers This is by far The best And easiest to use I'm 87 years old and I have arthritis badly I was able to shampoo a pure white Creamy white rug In less than a couple hours Stopping for different stains. T This was This was a sculptured large room size rug And it had been neglected because I had been in the hospital. Lots of ' traffic From a blacktop parking lot in the apartment complex Nobody bothered to take off their shoes or wipe their 'feet. So many stains. I put Together Without help. It's slight way but very powerful So of course you have to change water a little more often but it was no problem for me. Where I soak the carpet Because it was so soiled I could just set the carpet nozzle on the wet area and walk away and let it run and watch until the dirty water quit going up the nozzle . I Thought it held Enough water Especially because I didn't want it to be very heavy And the shampoo that was sent Worked very well No such thing for me Stuff to deal with. Goodbye again And plan to buy 1 for my daughter Things that get borrowed Don't always get returned And it's a very reasonable price for the quality. Just buy it I can't imagine you would regret it unless you have a user error with it.

This was waiting on my porch when I got home today. W/in 4 mins I had it out of the box, assembled, and tank filled. I used the urine eliminator solution that was included for both of my area rugs- family room & dining room. I was liberal with application and it took two tanks to shampoo both 8x10 area rugs. My home is cleaned every other week by a maid service and I supplement with two additional vacuums a week. My arsenal includes a bissell upright vac, a bissell crosswave, a dyson stick, 2 rumbas and formerly a bissell carpet cleaner (prob 15-20 years old) that just bit the dust. I don't play around with a dirty home! My problem lies in that when my fiance and his frenchie (female) moved it, my pomsky (male) began marking EVERYWHERE. A couch leg, a baseboard, a dining chair leg-, you name it, he christened it-- it has been killing me and I've been spot treating with highly rated urine eliminators but it is not deterring him. As I sit here writing this review, my home smells completely neutralized. It doesn't smell like cleaning products, but just fresh, neutral nothing. And I could not be happier. The bissell pet ultimate cleaner solution (that is not the official name, but something like that) I use in my crosswave is great and has more of a cleaning product smell to it, but I will be purchasing the Urine Eliminator for my rug shampoo needs from now on and use the other stuff in the crosswave for the wood flooring throughout rest of house. I saw they have a pet model of this product, I don't even want to think about what the fill tank would've captured if I'd upgraded. This works fantastic and at a lower price point. Super easy to disassemble to clean when finished. BUY IT.

Update This will be my final update on this cleaner. Even with the cons I'm giving it 5 stars. I've been using this for for a few weeks now. Everyday! Sometimes twice + a day. I'm going to hold study on The Cons 😑, but, dang. This thing is so easy to use. Nothing is metal on metal that I need to take apart and clean so I don't need to worry about leaving the cleaning solution in it. The dirty water tank comes apart , and I can stick my hand in it with soap and clean it. All plastic = No rust!!! Its light enough for me to pick it up and set it on the kitchen counter to take it apart, sometimes twice a day, to clean it. Oh, and the way they made the sucking thing is genius. So easy to clean! 💜✌😎 Update. I just can't get past the placement of the on/off switch, and, not being able to see how much liquid is being removed as you go. I changed my rating from a 4 to a 1. The brand is awesome but this model is not. There are 2 things I don't like about this machine. The location, of the on / off switch is very inconvenient. Needs to be up higher. Yes I saw the pictures, but I didn't think it would bother me. My old machine had an unobstructed view of the sucking up of the water, so I could see how much water was being removed as I went. The dirty water tank on this one, blocks any view of the sucking part, so I have to almost stop to see how much water, if any is being removed. Not 5 star stuff for me, but definitely a 4 star. Everything else is really good. Its light, easy to put together. Excellent size for the spot cleaning I do everyday, following behind a little old furry friend of mine, and still big enough to clean the heck out of the rest of the carpet. I like the materials they used. It looks to be well very durable. Easy to take apart and clean.

I bought this to replace an older broken Bissel Deep Clean machine. It did a great job. Only complaint is the small tanks, as others have mentioned. With the old machine I was able to clean the entire master bedroom. With this machine I had to empty/fill about 6 times. Annoying but not a show stopper. I like the light weight but it feels cheaper than my old model. I wish I spent the extra $$ and got the better model. Maybe when this one dies. And I wish the cord was about 5 feet longer. It’s also quieter than the old one. The dog didn’t run away.

Should have told is that it used American plug on the wall

Can only give this product 4 stars as it comes with a Canada or USA electric plug not a British plug fitting so now have to buy a plug to work it in uk
