Believe this will suit me fine!
I ordered this cup holder after my questions were answered on this site. As usual, the cup was delivered a day before my expected delivery date. It seems to be made heavy enough that even I would have trouble breaking it accidentally. Mounting was quick and easy. I had to adjust the cup upwards a bit to keep from hitting the tank on my '07 Yamaha RSTD.Then it started raining and I haven't had a chance to use it yet! (I'm a fair weather rider.) On my red and black bike, the black cup holder is there but not really that noticeable. I only gave it four stars because I don't know how it may look two or three years down the road. Time will only tell. But for right now, I am totally satisfied with the product. Also being on a fixed income, I look for the bargains and I believe I found one here.

Uuuuuuugly, difficult, and NOT for a motorcycle.
Okay... so I see all the reviews, and figure I'm missing something, and I buy it anyway. Nope... ugly as sin, and a pain to install.... they should have had the mounting nuts built into the bracket instead of having to hold ithem while it wants fall into your tank paint job, while trying to screw the bolt into the loose bracket.... Once I got it on I had to find a sweet spot where it would not touch the tank when the bars were in the parked position. Ugly. Then I tried to get past all that and find a coffee cup that would fit...few (almost none) naturally do. I have a Yeti shorty that fits nicely but it's short, so there's no way I'm fiddling with it while cruising just to get it out. Anything less than a perfect fit will shake like heck. The plastic is a hard cheap plastic, so the lifetime warranty makes sense... they could replace it 10 times and still make money. This is nothing more than a pop can holder with the cozie in it for perhaps an ATV. Two stars because I need to claim some responsibility for not seeing this would have been a ridiculous purchase on my bike.

Good but not perfect
I bought this with the intention of being able to take my travel mug of coffee with me to work in the morning while riding my cycle. Not quite what I expected, but will do the job. I thought it might be smaller around. Also, I'm worried that the clamping mechanism will scratch my handlebars. A better design would be to make it a little bigger around and give a rubber gasket. I tried to put in my own rubber gasket but it's too tight to do this. Yes, I am not going to have my coffee cup fall through the bottom or over the side. So that's a plus. I took the free Cooley and cut it up make it tighter inside so my coffee cup will not rattle around. An ideal design for the price would be a mechanism that would squeeze around your cup.

Solid cup holder
Pros:I like that I can carry a variety of drinks when riding. You'll need the included koozie for cans or small water bottles. I've found the large 32 oz foam cups from the gas station work great.Cons: A little spendyPro tip: don't leave the koozie in the holder with nothing in it as it will take flight on the freeway.

Works great, best price I found
Installed in a few minutes.Nice and simple. You don't need swivels and hangers and adjustable arms like some of the other brands have. Its just a cup holder on a motorcycle not a space ship.Does a great job with a coffee mug that has a closing lid.The side cut out is great if you have a mug with a handle. The coozie is good for water bottles and cans.I used a styrofoam coffee cup with a pop on/off lid once.I got some spillage because I get a lot of vibration in my bars, had to drink it quick that time.Installed on my '07 streetglide and used on a weekend trip, no complaints so far

Good Quality Product. Does What It Should
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because i thought the price was a little high. However it is a good quality product and fits well on my Harley. The diameter is fairly large and the holder is pretty deep so it can accommodate a variety of sizes of glasses and bottles while securing them well.

Yamaha FJR 1300
Mounted this on the crash bar in front of the saddle bag on my Yamaha FJR 1300. Puts the drink behind my left leg within easy access. I ride solo, otherwise it would be in the way of the passenger peg. Just what I have been looking for sense the handle bars are not round, and anything mounted on them gets in the way.

Perfect for my honda shadow!
It was a little hard for me to mount but it tightens beautifully. There is little vibration. I wouldn't recommend it though, unless you have a windsheild. The wind is deflected from flinging your cup or coffee at you. I took it on my first day ride. I did have to use a cozi to silence my small cup from vibrating in it and driving me nuts. worked beautifully. It fits a variety of cups/mugs. I love it. Do you think Starbucks will let me go through the drive through on my motorcycle?
