Yes, you will be able to talk and receive on other channels(118~133 MHz). **Q: Does the headset adapter allow you to plug directly into the Bose A20 and uses the mic activator on the airplane yoke?** A: The BOSE A20 will connect to the radio via the supplied headset adapter. Ensure that you set the mic to external on the radio, otherwise the headset microphone will not work to the radio. You will need an inline, remote PTT switch, connected via the headset adapter, and mount it on the yoke **Q: I see Software for programing as a download but no programing cable? Is it avaiable?** A: The reprogramming cable does not come with the radio. You can buy one for about $25 if you need it.
