I’m honestly very impressed with the DREAME X50 Ultra! This robot vacuum has completely changed my daily cleaning routine. The suction power is incredibly strong, picking up dust, pet hair, and small debris with ease. I also love the mopping feature because it leaves my floors looking clean and fresh without any extra effort. The smart navigation works amazingly well, avoiding obstacles and cleaning every corner of my home efficiently. The self-emptying and self-cleaning station is a huge time saver, making maintenance almost effortless. The app is easy to use, and I can schedule cleanings even when I’m not home. Overall, this is a premium-quality robot vacuum that delivers outstanding performance and convenience. This is my 2nd Dreame robot vacuum and I must say this one is a beast!! My previous version was the Dreame L10s and although it was good, quite often I would have to get hair out of the roller before it would successfully vacuum again. I have three dogs and one is a golden retriever which means I have a lot of hair in my house. I also had to actually remove the dust bin and manually empty it out because the base did not empty it all the way. The upgrade to the X 50 was the best move I could ever make. I waited a little while to write this review because I wanted to see how it would do on my floors first. I have never since I’ve had it, had to empty out the dust bin manually the base handles it perfectly. I rarely have hair caught in the rollers. The new roller design does a great job of keeping the hair from tangling. Of course you do have to occasionally do maintenance on it where you change the air filter and the little front roller wheel where you can take it off and get the hair out, but it’s not every week even, that I have to do that. It also has a self cleaning base which is fabulous!! The previous version was a pain to clean. I had to get down on my hands and knees to clean it properly. This model has a tray that you can take out and take to the sink and clean it when you need to, which is not too often. I usually clean it maybe once a month at best. It also has the legs that lift up to go over obstacles like raised doorways, and things like that. It has a medium noise level, not quite as loud as the previous version. You can also set it up to vacuum and mop at the same time.It also has a phone app that has a lot of features where you can pause the unit, send it back to dock, schedule cleanings, which I have it set to run four times a day, and it maps your house. You can also set up areas on the map that you want the vacuuming to avoid. I would highly recommend this product!! Quick note the very first one I got from Amazon the mop pads would not stay on it, they are magnetic, however Amazon. Because I didn’t want to go without a vacuum.

BACKGROUND We've had robo-vacuums for years, starting with the Roomba/iRobot, then more recently Roborock, and finally this one. So we've seen the progression in the industry, and have comparison points between brands. With an aging Roomba crapping out on one of our floors, research led me to take a chance on DREAME (found through vacuumwars). So far, pretty glad we did! Given that robo-vacuums aren't kind of a multi-faceted topic, I'll break it down below: APP Not the best, not the worst. I think Roborock's app (although far from perfect) is actually a bit more intuitive. That said, this one has an absolute TON of feature controls, which is kind of awesome. FORM FACTOR/SIZE The unit itself is fine, the base is... well, it feels huge. I don't think there's much they can do about it, because it has a good sized clean and dirty water tank, room for detergent, and the dust bag itself. No wasted space, but it was way more imposing than we expected. It's about the size of a small kitchen trash can, so prepare yourself. NOISE Insanely quiet. This is rated at significantly higher suction than even our Roborocks, but generates like 1/4 the noise of others. It's whisper quiet. Other vacuums make a ton of noise even just traversing the room (e.g. when mapping), as if it can't move without running the vacuum. This one does not, meaning it can map the room in perfect silence. Mopping is similarly silent. VACUUM As mentioned, super quiet, but *seems* to be doing its job very well. We haven't noticed any issues yet, and our floors (hardwood and tile) are flawlessly clean. MOPPING We've had multi-function bots before (Roborock), but these basically just had a tiny reservoir of water on the unit itself, which would wet the mop pad, and just drag that across the floor. Maybe better than nothing, but the hassle of refilling the tiny chamber made it basically just not ever worth the effort. This one is different. It literally is like a full service robot - dropping its mop pads when not needed, cleaning them after use, refilling itself, empying dirty water, etc. Plus the mop pads rotate and extend out to baseboards/corners as needed. Super cool to see the advances they've made in a few short years! LONGEVITY No idea here, as it's new to our household, but it came loaded with replacements for everything... brushes, bags, mop pads, etc. Certainly more than any previous vacuum we've gotten. Hope it lives long enough to need those! OVERALL Super impressed so far, form factor aside (and I think that's just a requirement given its features/function). Would recommend.

*Updated review drops from 3 to 1 star* Disappointed. I normally do not write negative reviews, but because the X50 costs what it does, I feel the need to. I’ve had it for three months and I’ve had nothing but problems with it from the start. Almost all software related issues. It constantly pauses or ends tasks halfway through them. I set it to run at night and I come downstairs in the morning to only some of my 5 rooms being partially cleaned. Sometimes four rooms. Sometimes only one room. Sometimes it gets all 5 done, but then it just ends its task and stays in the 5th room instead of going back to the dock. Sometimes it will just clean a small spot constantly for up to 20 minutes until I notice and have to cancel the cleaning and restart it. It’s a great machine when it works, but unfortunately the engineers at Dreame need to do a better job with their products. I regret getting this vs another robot simply because it can’t do the tasks I ask it to do reliably. What’s the point of having this machine if it doesn’t mop or vacuum. *update* It’s just gotten worse and worse. It’s a morning miracle if I set it to clean before bed and wake up and any of the selected rooms are cleaned. Usually it does the first room selected. If I have it set to zone, it usually works. Sometimes it just randomly does circles or this (video). Mind you in the video, I did its perimeter of the zone I set then went outside the perimeter to do this for a few minutes before I canceled the task. (This room was tasked to vacuum and mop last night. It only vacuumed one other room then canceled the tasks)

This is my 3rd floor robot--different company/model than the first two. This one is very loud IMO. It doesn't have the roller fluffing technology. However, it sure vacuums good. It mops good too, going around and under chair legs and under the pedestals of my dining room table, which the first one did not go under the pedestals. I wish it wasn't so loud and did have the roller fluff but not willing to try a 4th one, I'm keeping it--provided nothing goes wrong with it within the 30 day return window. Fingers crossed! If anything changes, I'll update my review. So far, a good machine at a lower price than some of the higher end ones if you don't mind how loud it is and don't need the roller fluff (like if your floors don't have deep crevices--which mine do not). The only reason I took away one star is because of how loud it is. The roller fluff--well, that is a recent thing with floor robots so I can't fault it for that. The app has all the bells and whistles of the other two (which were more expensive). Heats the water to 212 F to clean the roller. That is awesome!

I've been extremely impressed with the DREAME X50 Ultra Complete. The suction is incredibly powerful and easily picks up dust, pet hair, and debris from both hard floors and carpets. The mopping feature leaves my floors looking spotless, and the self-cleaning mop and auto-empty station make maintenance almost effortless. The obstacle avoidance works surprisingly well, and it navigates around furniture without getting stuck. I also love how well it cleans along edges and in corners, areas that many robot vacuums tend to miss. If you're looking for a premium robot vacuum that truly saves time while delivering excellent cleaning performance, I highly recommend the DREAME X50 Ultra Complete. It's one of the best smart home purchases I've made.

I already use a robot vaccum and mop combo from Tapo but this is definitely a huge upgrade for me. I love how it can auto refill itself with clean water so I don’t have to refill every time I need to use it which was a huge hassle for me before. It’s been a week since I received it and I love everything. The battery life is amazing, it’s really durable and can go over things in its way which is nice as I don’t have to worry about tidying up the place before I can run it. The suction power is also really good. Not gonna lie, it’s wasn’t cheap but overall it’s does check all the box for me and in my opinion does provide value for the money you spend.

I have been using this robot vacuum for a while now, and honestly, it has become one of those things I didn't realize I needed until I had it. It has made keeping my home clean feel so much more effortless and less stressful. What I personally love most is how much time it gives me back. Between work, errands, and just life in general, I don't always have the energy to vacuum and mop everyday. With this robot, I just set it and let it do its thing. It moves around my home really smoothly and does not constantly bump into things or get stuck like other robot vacuums I have tried in the past. I can actually trust it to clean different rooms without me checking on it every few minutes. The suction is strong enough that I notice a real difference, crumbs, dust, and pet hair are gone in one run most of the time. My floors just feel cleaner overall, especially in the kitchen and living areas where I am always walking back and forth. Another thing I like is the mopping feature. The fact that it washes and dries its own mop pads in the base station is very good. I don't have to deal with dirty pads or any messy cleanup afterward, which makes me actually want to use the mopping function more often. When it runs, it's so quiet, and I think it really worth the money. Yeah, it saves me a lot of time for cleaning my house daily. Very appreciate this new robot vacuum and mop.

After using the DREAME X50 Ultra Complete Robot Vacuum and Mop daily for a few weeks, I can honestly say it’s one of the most convenient cleaning devices I’ve owned. It actually does what it claims and has noticeably reduced the time I spend cleaning. Setup was quick through the Dreame app, and the robot mapped my home on its first run without any issues. One thing to note is that you need 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for setup. If your router combines 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, you may need to separate them temporarily. Once connected, the app is stable and gives you a lot of control over how and when it cleans. The unit feels premium and well built. The dock is larger than basic robot vacuums, but that’s expected since it auto-empties dust and self-cleans the mop. The robot can lower itself to about 3.5 inches, so it fits under couches and beds that other robots usually miss. The mapping and navigation are excellent. It creates a detailed map quickly, lets you label rooms, set no-go zones, and customize cleaning by area. It moves efficiently and rarely repeats spaces. The AI camera helps it recognize obstacles like shoes and cables. Occasionally the camera loses connection, but even then it continues cleaning properly using its other sensors. One feature I really appreciate is how well it handles thresholds and transitions. It can climb over door tracks and small barriers without getting stuck, which makes a big difference in homes with multiple floor transitions or rugs. The suction power is genuinely strong. It easily picks up dust, crumbs, pet hair, litter, and dirt tracked in from outside. You can see the difference after each run. Despite the power, it’s quieter than I expected. If you deal with long hair or pets, the DuoBrush system is a big plus. Hair doesn’t wrap tightly around the brush like on traditional rollers, which makes maintenance much easier. Edge cleaning is better than most robot vacuums I’ve tried. The side brush extends outward to reach baseboards, and the mop reaches closer to corners, so you don’t get those dusty lines along edges. The mopping system is where this unit really stands out. The mops automatically lift when carpets are detected, so rugs stay dry. The dock washes and dries the mop pads, refills water, and collects dirty water automatically. The clean and dirty tanks are easy to remove and refill. For daily maintenance cleaning, it does a great job removing footprints, light dirt, and dust film from hard floors. The app offers plenty of customization, including room-specific cleaning, suction levels, water flow, schedules, and carpet settings. You can monitor cleaning in real time and create routines that fit your home. The auto-empty dock significantly reduces maintenance. It empties debris into bags, cleans the mops, refills water, and helps prevent odors. It really makes the whole system feel hands-off. Battery life has been excellent so far. It can clean large areas on one charge and will return to recharge and resume if needed. There are a few minor drawbacks. It requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, the camera can occasionally lose connection, and the dock takes up more space than basic models. The price is also on the higher side. That said, if it proves to be durable and long-lasting, I think it will absolutely be worth the investment. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It’s powerful, smart, and extremely convenient, and it has made keeping the floors clean much easier. If you want a premium robot vacuum that truly automates cleaning, this is a strong option.
