Wifi Display Dongle Miracast Receiver Airplay for iphone/Android Screen Mirroring Adapter 1080P Wireless HDMI for TV/Projector with Charger

I had this product for about a week. I have two Vizio TVs and I cannot get it to work with either of them. I also do a lot of traveling and I was able to get it to work with the TVs in the hotels. But that only lasted for about a week and then it starts working. The home screen was originally coming up at the hotel and then all the sudden even though the home screen came up I was not able to connect to it or if I connected to it it we just quickly lose connection. Vizio TVs in my home the home screens would not even come up. Even even though there was power connected to the unit and I had a power indicator light. Would not recommend this product. This was with an iPhone X

I bought two of these and NEITHER of them work as described by the manufacturer. First, the instructions read as if they were written by an 8 year old whose second language is English. They are redundant, confusing, and most of all, what they say IS NOT TRUE. The device supposedly uses one of two modes, DLNA or Miracast. Although in the device description on Amazon they say that they support IOS, they do NOT. It even says they support IOS in the instructions and in the company's ads. If you go to the DLNA and Miracast websites or look them up in Widipedia, it clearly says for both standards that Apple has chosen NOT to support either one and will only support it's own mirroring which requires an Apple TV that the screen you want to project to is likely not to be connected to. Also, there is a mode button on the device which supposedly switches between DLNA and Miracast. Well, on both my devices the mode switch didn't do anything and the screen just stayed on the devices start screen. Also, they mounted the mode button on the side of the device, which means that on a lot of LED TVs when you plug it into the HDMI port, the button is right up against the back of the TV. Kudos to their design people for such a boneheaded placement. So you can't press the button while it's plugged in, and of course if you unplug it, pressing the button is useless since you are not now connected to the TV and can't see what it does (which turns out to be nothing anyway since I used a tweezer to stick in between the device and the TV to press the button.) Finally, and this is a really good one, the instructions say to connect your smartphone to the device using WIFI. Well first, I tried this and it didn't work on one of the devices at all, and on the other it connected but then nothing else happened. Because when you connect to the device WIFI, it disconnects your device from the Internet WIFI so you have no internet connection since your phone won't connect at the same time to two different WIFIs. Therefore you couldn't project anything that required that your phone have an Internet connection. So there is not much more they could have done wrong. I have no idea if a device exists which will work with iPhone since Apple refuses to support wireless WIFI standards other than their own. But even if you are using Android, most of the problems above would still apply. There MUST be something better out there by definition, since this product could not be any worse. (Footnote: after playing around with one of them unsuccessfully for a while, it completely stopped working at all and wouldn't even display the start screen. So the manufacturing quality is lousy as well as the design. Just DON'T buy this.

I have tried for months to get this to work, Android and iOS, doesn't matter what software I try it will not work. Most of the how to videos show a different display than this one has, and even the same display videos don't show the same phone menus. Instructions are poorly written and there is no other form of support for this item

I bought two of these they both work great with Samsung phones and tablets. However the first one I could initially never get to work with Apple products at all. I eventually did and so I bought another one for our family history library. At first it was fine and could even be setup to work as easily with Apple products as it did Samsung by connecting it to your Wi-Fi signal. However after a day or so connected to the Wi-Fi the device tended to hang up and would not connect to anything until you reset it and sometimes you had to restart the last device that connected to it. I e-mailed support but never got any response at all.We can still connect Apple products but you have to leave the AnyCast it off of your Wi-Fi and connect the Apple device to the AnyCast Wi-FI then you can use content that is already on your phone or tablet but you can't connect to the Internet to get additional content etc.

Seems to work fairly well in our TV, has no issues with lag and freezing up. Product is great, perfect for watching Videos on the big screen or showing someone a video without having everyone crowded around a small device. It really is a great product and super useful to have.

Does not work, very poor instructions.. should be easy to work, I give up and consider this getting tossed in the trash and a huge waste of money.

This is the second one I have bought. This one is for the tv in my office. My Samsung TV display in input mode says that the device is not supported. The first one, used on a Sony tv, works just fine. Hmmmmm.......

Once I figured out the installation, the item perfectly projected the image from my iPhone. It's not a difficult installation, but you need to be somewhat technical savvy to read directions.
