Well, I was having a hard time imagining breakfast smeared in my beard would smell like a good thing. The last thing I want to do is feed into the stigma of a dirty beard lol. However, this is a crisp and complex smell with varying notes. It smells like a strong and dark coffee moca with some pancakes/syrup of sorts, but considerably better... it is hard to explain. Anyhow, I think I found myself another favorite beard brand... the Woodsman was overall descent... my first product I tried from BB... the pricing is steep, but it is solid product overall.Regarding beard hold, I consider it about a Medium to light duty. I keep my beard around 6 inches and it works enough to keep those pesky hairs in the back of the jaw line to stay together so the beard looks crisp and not frizzy with stragglers everywhere.--------------------------31JUL19My favorite fragrance to date. I'm not a coffee drinker. The smell use to make me sick, but this is not overwhelming and actually smells great. It is my primary go to for now for brand and fragrance.If it matters, I have medium to heavy density beard. My beard is thick on the neck and chin/goatee area, but I struggle with wired and thin sideburns... the hair is thick, but density is not great. this product keeps everything in check. Overpriced, but it meets my needs and I truly enjoy it.

I really like this beard product. The scent isn't overpowering at all. My wife who is just about allergic to everything seems to have no problem with this balm either. I've tried Honest Amish and several other brands which made her break out in hives. No such problem here!

I have tried many beard balms in the last year. This is one of the best. Great consistency and smell. It works well for me. I will definitely get another once this one runs low.

This balm is great. TBB products are always good but man did they nail this one. Best scent yet! And my Lady friend says it’s wonderful to wake up to :>)

Great product, a little bit goes a long way and has cured any winter itch I had in my shorter beard. The smell is absolutely fantastic.
