With a 25 LB capacity, this fast-acting formula ensures immediate results when dosed correctly, maintaining optimal water quality and swimmer comfort. ## Description Introducing Fiji Pool Calcium Hypochlorite Shock Granules, your solution for pristine water quality in pools, spas, and hot tubs. Our 68% pool chlorine formulation makes it a powerful swimming pool sanitizer, controlling algae and bacteria for a safe swimming environment. These fast dissolving chlorine granules are designed for direct dosing. Add them directly to the pool with the filter pump running for rapid dissolution and even chlorine distribution. Use a pool brush to disperse settled granules and dose in the evening for best results. For skimmer use, ensure they are clean before adding the product. Keep the filter pump running to circulate water, and gradually pour granules into the skimmer at a slow rate to prevent accumulation and toxic gas release. Avoid this method if you have an automatic chemical dispenser. Achieve optimal performance by balancing pool parameters per Aqua-Stability guidelines: pH levels 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity 60-120 ppm, and calcium hardness above 200 ppm. Use a reliable pool test kit to confirm these ranges. Perform weekly pool shock or super chlorination every 7 days. Add 10-20 ounces per 10,000 gallons to achieve 5-10 ppm of residual chlorine. Supplemental treatments are recommended for visible algae, excessive swimmers, rainstorms, or heavy winds. Use a chlorine test kit to monitor levels before swimming. For algae control shock, follow super chlorination instructions and apply the product close to affected areas. Clean pool surfaces immediately after treatment to avoid staining. For new pools or spring start-ups, adjust parameters per Aqua-Stability guidelines and treat with a shock treatment. Regularly monitor chlorine levels to maintain quality and safety. Fiji Pool Calcium Hypochlorite Granules simplify pool care, providing effective pool sanitization. Trust our product for crystal clear, sanitized water, giving you peace of mind and a pristine swimming experience. Enjoy ultimate pool care with Fiji Pool. ## Features - DIRECT DOSING FOR EFFECTIVE SANITIZATION: Add Fiji Pool Calcium Hypochlorite Granules directly to your pool for immediate results. Distribute the product evenly while keeping the filter pump running to ensure quick dissolution. Use a pool brush to disperse any granules that settle on the pool floor. For optimal results, conduct dosing during evening hours. - SKIMMER USAGE GUIDELINES: Clean all debris and chemicals from skimmers before use. Keep the filter pump running to circulate water through the skimmers. Gradually pour the product into the skimmer at a slow rate to prevent accumulation and avoid the release of toxic gas. Avoid using this method with any automatic chemical dispensing devices. - AQUA-STABILITY FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE: Maintain swimmer comfort and crystal-clear water by balancing pool parameters: pH levels between 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity between 60-120 ppm, and calcium hardness above 200 ppm. Regularly use a reliable pool test kit to confirm these ranges for optimal product performance. - SUPER CHLORINATION/SHOCK TREATMENT: Perform super chlorination or shock treatment every 7 days for best results. Add 10-20 ounces of product per 10,000 gallons of water to achieve 5-10 ppm of available residual chlorine. Supplemental treatments are recommended for visible algae, excessive swimmers, or after rainstorms and heavy winds. Use a chlorine test kit to monitor chlorine levels, ensuring they are safe for swimmers. - ALGAE CONTROL AND NEW POOL START-UP: For algae control, follow super chlorination instructions and apply the product close to algae-affected areas. Clean surfaces immediately after treatment to avoid staining. For new pools or spring start-ups, adjust pool parameters as per Aqua-Stability guidelines and treat the pool with a shock treatment. Regularly monitor chlorine levels to maintain water quality and safety. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D6366WBM | | Best Sellers Rank | #410,210 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #894 in Swimming Pool Chlorine | | Brand | Fiji Pool | | Brand Name | Fiji Pool | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 24 Reviews | | Item Form | Granular | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Benefits | Controls Algae, Kills Algae, Kills Bacteria, Maintains Clean Sanitized Water, Prevents Algae Growth | | UPC | 850061773142 | | Unit Count | 400.0 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fiji Pool - **Item Form:** Granular - **Product Benefits:** Cleansing Contaminants, Controls Algae, Kills Algae, Kills Bacteria, Prevents Algae Growth - **UPC:** 850061773142 - **Number of Items:** 1 ## Images ![Calcium Hypochlorite Granules 68% - Powerful Pool Shock Treatment, Algae & Bacteria Control, Sanitizer for Swimming Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs - 25 LB - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mnqJWuWJL.jpg) ![Calcium Hypochlorite Granules 68% - Powerful Pool Shock Treatment, Algae & Bacteria Control, Sanitizer for Swimming Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs - 25 LB - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ZUAbhFVFL.jpg) ![Calcium Hypochlorite Granules 68% - Powerful Pool Shock Treatment, Algae & Bacteria Control, Sanitizer for Swimming Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs - 25 LB - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cTIyuk9ZL.jpg) ![Calcium Hypochlorite Granules 68% - Powerful Pool Shock Treatment, Algae & Bacteria Control, Sanitizer for Swimming Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs - 25 LB - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81qYGhZxs9L.jpg) ![Calcium Hypochlorite Granules 68% - Powerful Pool Shock Treatment, Algae & Bacteria Control, Sanitizer for Swimming Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs - 25 LB - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Yp2fgFshL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Fiji Pool Calcium Hypochlorite Granules 68% - Powerful Pool Shock Treatment, Algae & Bacteria Control, Sanitizer for Swimming Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs - 25 LB - Cloroxยฎ Pool&Spaโ„ข Swimming Pool Algaecide and Clarifier, Prevents and Treats Pool Algae, Clears Water, 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - PROFELIZ Chlorine Tablets 3 Inch for Swimming Pools, Kills Bacteria and Stops Algae, Slow Dissolving,Exclusive Protective Packaging,Pool Chlorine Tablets,20lbs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - ๐Ÿ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** โ€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - ๐ŸŒ **Shop Globally** โ€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - ๐Ÿ’ฐ **No Hidden Fees** โ€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - ๐Ÿ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** โ€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - ๐Ÿ”’ **Secure Payments** โ€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - โญ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** โ€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/688165959-calcium-hypochlorite-granules-68-powerful-pool-shock-treatment-algae-bacteria](https://www.desertcart.be/products/688165959-calcium-hypochlorite-granules-68-powerful-pool-shock-treatment-algae-bacteria) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
