Worth the money. Easy to use.
It is a great concept. I use the it with my iPad air which fits great. I use it in a Cessna 172, 182 and Citabria. The strap is not sturdy, the unit does slide sideways, but it does its job. The BIG problem is that the lid only opens to the left, which interferes with the stick on the Citabria and the yoke on the Cessnas if the seat is too high.I ended up installing the iPad upside down and opening up a hole on the bottom to power the iPad. Now the lid opens to the right. I first tried leaving the ipad as is, put holder upside down to open to the right but the seatbelt buckle kept turning off the ipad's power switch.Buy it, you will not regret it. There are more expensive models out there from Sportys, etc, but this one is very simple to use, no velcro to worry about. No loosing parts, etc.I am wondering how to add a paper notepad to the lid. Maybe some other user figured it out without scratching the iPad.

Durable with flaws
The only thing I don’t really like is the Velcro strap on this. I’m about 190 lbs and have decent size thighs and this strap is very loose. If I weighed any less or had skinnier thighs, this strap would be way too loose. There’s also really nowhere to place a pencil or pen or stylist.

Not the best design
Can only be used on the left leg. Not convenient if you are a righty. Pen holder not alongside the IPad but is on the bottom of the cover flap which hangs down on the side of your leg. That really doesn't matter since there is no place to put a writing pad if you need or prefer to write something down. So, you must use the ForeFlight scratch pad for notes. Will not be using this product for flying. I have taken the Velcro strap off and will be using the knee pad as an iPad case only.

Will not fit iPad 8
Sadly does not fit my iPad 8 at all. Because it’s cheap, however I’ll probably just cut the top strap off and use it that way. Other than that the strap is pretty short so if you have beefy legs be prepared for a tight grip. It’s okay - it’s priced right for what it is I’d say.

Good value, not a lot of features
I love this case! For the price, you cant get much better. It has a small pocket for flight documents. I wish there was a clear pocket that you could see inside of so as not to have to take out papers. A clipboard would have been handy, but I'm not complaining. The velcro strap and bungee is pretty sturdy. I wouldn't buy this if you're looking for a long term knee board, but as a starter, it does the job.

Quite heavy and bulky
This kneeboard is quite sturdy and thick which has its pros and cons. The left flap doesn't really go anywhere very easily, so you end up having it open all the time across both legs, or trying to tuck it down the side between your leg and the aircraft door on your left. Would've been better if it had creases

Nice Piece. EXCELLENT VALUE.
This kneeboard is exactly what I needed: just something to conveniently hold my EFB on my leg in flight. At one third the cost of kneeboards providing features I didn't need, this was a no-brainer. It's nicely made. Seems to be of excellent quality. Fits my 9.7" iPad perfectly and doesn't take up any additional space in my flight kit while at the same time protecting the tablet. It has all the cut-outs needed as well (I don't have to remove the iPad to charge it, or take a pic, etc.). The cleaning cloth is a actually a nice touch - I wipe the screen frequently. If all you need is a kneeboard for a medium size tablet EFB I highly recommend this one.

Didnt like the case itself
It worked well enough to keep my ipad on my leg. Returned it because I liked my case a lot more and just got a simple strap instead. Also only works on left leg since the cover hangs over the side.
