We were very concerned when the product was delivery, due to the packaging was severely damage. However, the product itself was intact with no issues.

After working great for several weeks, the "up-down" switch became intermittent, sometimes requiring dozens of pushes to activate. Ultimately it failed to work at all.Since it was the perfect solution for my wife's mobility challenges, we had already ordered another one to use upstairs when we get a stair lift installed. We put the new one to work downstairs and retired the dead one to the garage.By now we were well beyond the 30-day Amazon return period, but I was able work directly with the manufacturer for a full refund.Because of their excellent customer service after the problem, we highly recommend Kmina to others in the future.

I have only one "complaint" about this equipment: it doesn't stay exactly in place over the toilet. In tight space with a caregiver, it is easy to kick it a bit out of alignment for when the seat piece lowers down to the bowl. I have added a piece of PVC trim material that I cut to fit between back rail and toilet tank to keep it from shifting back, and am working on locator for the back to capture feet in alignment side to side.It seems pricey until you consider a trip to the hospital if user falls or caregiver hurts their back assisting. I would recommend this product highly.

Easy to set up and use. Holds weight of a 265 lb male. Takes a little getting use to using. Fits good in my bathroom but make sure you have a good 6 inch clearance on both sides of the toilet. Also doubles as a chair if you put a cousin over the hole.

My left knee has been giving me a lot of trouble for some time due to arthritis. It stiffens up so bad to the point where I have trouble standing up from low heights, such as the toilet. When I came across this elective toilet lift, I jumped on it. On days when my leg acts up, this lift has served as a huge lifesaver.Beginning with assembly, I will say it was very straightforward. The unit arrives in a fairly large box. Thankfully, the main frame and lift mechanism of the device come mostly assembled. You just have to install a few additional components. You will first begin by installing the feet. These thread into the bottom of the frame. Next, you will attach and secure the side rails with the included hardware. At this point, you can then attach the armrests and toilet seat. That about sums it up! Assembly took around only 20 minutes.As far as installation, the unit is quite large, so you will need some space around your toilet. There is about 15” of space between my toilet and my vanity, and the lift just fits. The lift is designed to sit over the top of most toilet bowls. It is fairly heavy, so you will likely need an additional helping hand to move the lift into position. Once installed, the unit can be plugged into a standard 110V wall outlet. This was a huge relief to me, as I initially feared the ram would require additional voltage. As far as construction, I have to say that this thing is built ruggedly. It is both sturdy and stable, and thanks to its substantial build, it will not move or slide inadvertently. Thanks to the heavy duty construction, I feel confident when both sitting and standing. The toilet seat is also quite comfortable, and I much prefer the design to that of many of the raised toilet seats on the market currently. Moreover, the lift is very simple to use and operate. The remote control is foolproof, and the ram operates smoothly.I am glad to report that I am very satisfied with the impact this electric toilet lift has had in my daily life. This unit has entirely eliminated the burden of wondering exactly how I was going to get up from the toilet. The lift works as advertised, and is undoubtedly built to last a long time. I believe that this lift has the ability to help a lot of disabled people, and I would most definitely give it my recommendation.
