I loved that the stories are short and there are questions at the end of each reading. I hope to another one just a bit more depth to the stories.

Bought this for my granddaughters who spend the night with me frequently. They love the Bible stories. It is a great way to teach them about the Bible.

Only $2.95 is a steal. This book is perfect for my 2 year old and 2 month old since I home school them. We have bible study as part of the curriculum

I bought this book to use in an adult English as a Second Language class that I teach. Overall, the wording is great and is easy for my intermediate students to understand. I think that a mid-elementary level child could read this book without an issue and that even younger children could understand it being read to them.I really like that under the title of each story, the Bible reference is listed, so I can help students find where they can read more about it, or a parent could help a child in this way.My only complaint about this book is that sometimes, it feels like the author is trying to not leave any details out by turning it into a story for children and because of that, there are sometimes awkward sentences that seem to be just stuffed with details or names. I think it would be hard to decide when writing a book like this how much to keep in the story to make it as accurate as possible and how much to leave out to make it easy for children to understand. This is my reason for giving the book 4 stars instead of 5: the awkward wording necessary to make sure all of the names and details are included.

The stories are short and to the point. That is good at bedtime. You can take a couple minutes to discus what was read without feeling rushed. I purchased one for several families with various age children. They all enjoy them.

I wanted to use a children's bible, to read aloud to my baby when it was still in my tummy, and to continue with it when it was born. I decided to get this very book. It is very simple, in black and white. It tells the main stories of the bible, in the correct order and with more details than other books for children. It not only helps me to have a proper text to read to my baby and use it to translate into the three other languages we are speaking at home, but I have started a serious bible study, as I am reading for myself the bible after I have read to baby the story. I was not able up to this point of my life, to read the bible from A to Z. But because of the baby and this book I am finally doing it now. `

Stories are good. No pictures except a few black and white. I didnt like that there was no index either. But for the price, like i said the stories are good. Easy to read and language was simplified but not overly simplified. I will be reading at bedtime so the pictures are not necessary for me anyway.

Best choice for children. The author tried to present many Bible stories in a chronological order. It's not idle for the small kids. 6yrs onwards it will be a better choice. Regarding the paper quality and pictures, of course, it's not come to the mark.

This is the first English Bible book I got for my Son, we're both enjoying the story time together and we're really blessed by the word GOD!
