A slow release and it's spot on every time and exact measurement. Review: This aren't in the same league as the ones you find in professional labs that easily cost ten times as much, but they are fantastic for home/hobbyist use. I go through tons of single use pipettes that are inaccurate and wasteful, but with this, I just have to trash the tip and I'm back in business. It's so much easier to use too. And to anyone who is complaining about inaccuracy, I did not have that issue at all.
