Lengths are estimated not exact.The cords are 4mm in diameter. The original bike cords were 8mm hence these are half the weight. These cords are also relatively stiffer so its less lightly to tangle up in my bike bag.Also it's not as elastic as I thought it would be, which is probably great for lounge chairs. Meaning it creates lots of pulling power by stretching it for just 2cm. My original bicycle cords require 5cm before it creates the same strength. This means in a lounge chair it will feel more like chair than hammock. Over time it will lose this strength. This strength is a great starting point. This is fine for me as my bungee hooks could adjust the length of the cord. If they cords are too short. I'll just swap the hooks to a longer cord.

I replaced the elastic cord on my garden chair. It didn’t last long all went baggy I ended up chucking the chair away.

they are really good quality but not enough cord to do the whole chair and not long enough. those recliners have 3 sections and the top section did not have any cord supplied for it, so I would have been better off buying a few meters cut to size.

Back to looking like new again, but fitting them is a pig of a job, the number of times the end pinged back and cut the fingers and it was painful too.

Worth renewing, chair saved for further use
