Cambridge Grammar of English Paperback with CD-ROM: A Comprehensive Guide Product Bundle – 30 Mar. 2006

For me the book is great, but it's not a book for anyone. Do not have a good Basic of English I do not advise this book. But for those who have the English intermediate, it will help a lot. If you are a university student it will be of great help. It has a great quality in the internal content, examples of academic writing the CD is of great help to you. You can study directly on your computer. Haven many examples of how to write, read end talk correctly, verbs, etc.I'm not a mother the English language is helping me at university. In short, everything is not one boring or old book. In my opinion, excellent research has been done on the text of this book.

Very technical, and not a book to dip in and out of casually. However, it's very thorough and comprehensive.The CD-ROM​ only works on PCs (not Mac, although I have it running on a Parallels virtual machine running Windows), and requires you to install a special application. It would have been better in this day and age if it was just a PDF that could be downloaded, or a webpage, but it's still worth having.

This is much more than the traditional grammars for learners of English were which used to enumerate rules without explaining the reason behind. It contains none of those long long lists that only make the learning more difficult without throwing any light on the problems.If I had time I would read it like a novel from the beginning to the end, it's such an exciting journey into Enlish language.The terminology was not new to me, I've learned it at university, moreover it's more helpful than the old one was.Thank you!!!

If you want to know anything about grammar then this is the book. Great computer programme too on the CD-ROM to install on your pc so it is easy to search and find what ou are looking for.

I'm teaching English abroad and this has helped massively with learning about the grammar rules. English is complicated and most things we just know doesn't sound right but don't know why. This book explains it and has examples and is easy to read. It came quickly and it's extremely useful. Definitely recommend it.

It is the kind of thing I was looking for to support and progress in my studies.It is a good item for a good price, full of data, information and ideas about thelanguage of English, as I already said, perfect for the work and studies I am doingat present. Excellent!!! I would buy another one if I needed it. Sure.
