Works as they state they would but got 1 year out of one bulb....sad

I purchased one package with 2 bulbs and installed on in a lamp on a post by my driveway. I turned the light switch off, screwed the bulb in, placed the lamp over it and turned thelight switch on. The light flickered lightly and then shut off, since it was daylight. Now the light comes on automatically assoon as it gets dark and turn off atfirst lights. I have not touched the light switch since, and thebulb works perfectly.It gives a bright light, but does not glare.The other bulb I screwed into a fixture in the back yard. This bulb is not as protected as the one in the front, but it works just as good andsurvived our recent storm Ian.The bulbs were just what I needed, and shipping was really fast.

Screw these bulbs in like any other light bulb. When you turn in the power, they will light up, but soon go out unless it is dark enough. Once it gets to dusk, they light until the dawn. Just be careful to keep the light from other sources of light. Mine are on either side of a 2 car garage and there is no issue with proper functioning.

Put this on my side door, and it's nice to have a light on when I come home after dark. What's neat about these is they go on even if it's simply stormy outside, dark. The previous light lasted 5 years in this location, I expect this one to last as long.

Love these bulbs! A great replacement bulb. Dusk to Dawn sensor works great!. Simple, change the bulb, leave the wall switch on, and they come and go off as promised. In fact they worked so well in our front lights that I bought a second set for the back of our house. The work in sockets that point up or down, they need to be in protected fixtures. Mine have glass enclosures. The light sensors work great, we have an inset door in the front of our house, so it normally gets less natural light. My initial concern was that it would come on whenever it got cloudy or the sun started to dim, but even on a darker cloudy rainy day it does not come on until the natural daylight starts to significantly dim. They are very bright and light up the entire front of our house. Great for safety lighting because they light a large area.

I ordered one package (2 bulbs) of the Dusk to Dawn LED bulbs to try out prior to replacing my five other outdoor lights. They order arrived very quickly and even thought the outside of the package was damaged, the bulbs were completely protected by a hard clear plastic shell.The instructions with the bulbs stated that they should be placed no less than 15 feet apart to ensure they do not interfere with each other's sensors. Being someone that does not believe everything I read, I placed them on an outbuilding where the light fixtures are 12 feet apart and hoped for the best. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised, they worked perfectly! Now that I have seen them work perfectly for over a week, I just ordered three more packages (6 bulbs) for the remainder of the outdoor lights.

As the headline states 3/4 are going for 2 years 2 months now. One gave out this past week. Otherwise great for the money. Nice way to not have to remember to turn on lights outside.
