I bought this because I don't have that much grey coming in and only occasionally, need the grey to be less obvious. Otherwise, most days I am fine with my Elsa Bride of Frankenstein grey streaks coming in on both sides of my head. Applying it is super easy. It covers the grey beautifully. It lasts all day and until washed (or exposed to water! Watch out for rain, sprinklers and pools). It doesn't smudge all over everything else. Its a great, quick cheat for covering up gray in a hurry (and temporarily). The downsides is that it is a cover on your hairs and this means that you cannot (and should not) try to run your fingers through it like you would natural hair. If you do, you will find that your fingers get caught in your hair like you are wearing too much hair spray or hair gel. If you are styling your hair or covering grey for a special occasion, who is going to risk messing up your hair by putting their grubby fingers in it anyway? Now, if you find yourself unexpectedly swept away into a night of passion with someone and they want to run their fingers through your hair and whisper sweet nothings into your ear under the moonlight... oh who are we kidding with this? If THAT happens, the last thing we are worried about is messing up our hair or our love struck companion wondering why you have so much hair spray in your hair.. LOL It can rub off so be mindful of that and check in a mirror if you are frequently touching your face or hair. I enjoyed this product and it was exactly what I needed to temporarily cover gray so I didn't have to destroy my hair with hair dye for an occasional need.

Excellent! Covering roots is so easy and covers well. No tub residue like other powders which leave a ring near the bottom of the tub.

This powder is expensive but it's worth it for so many reasons. It's easy to use (no worrying about a spray spraying all over the place), portable and convenient for travel and on-the-go touch-ups, washes out easily, and doesn't irritate my scalp. I find that the black covers my greys quite well - the key is to LOAD UP THE BRUSH with plenty of powder. I usually load the brush with 5 strokes of powder (from top to bottom) before applying, and I "reload" the brush frequently as well. The downside is that it takes much longer to apply than a spray, especially if you have several spots you need to cover, and it's harder to apply to the back of the head. It's not going to give you full-head coverage whereas with a spray you could spray all over to cover up as much as you want. The powder holds up quite well, usually a couple days for me. But it's NOT 100% transfer-proof. When I touch my hair, a faint grayish tinge sometimes appears on my fingers, so I have to be careful.

Can someone help me here? Am I doing something wrong, I almost feel like I got a knockoff of this product and this is not actually the product because it's got great reviews. But it's literally not covering up my grays at all not even a little bit. I have black hair and I have grays that come up at the front of my hairline and I followed the directions exactly and it literally does not cover up a single gray hair. It's great for the scalp if people have sparse hair. I think it works great for that. But I don't have that problem. This is supposed to be a gray cover-up product and it covers up no grays.

I’m very satisfied with COLOR WOW Root Cover Up! It works wonderfully to cover gray roots and does a great job overall. Gives a natural look, very easy to use and provides instant coverage—just apply with the brush and it washes out easily in the shower. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to touch up roots between colorings!

I love this product! I honestly can't live without it. In between getting my roots touched up I use it religiously! I even use it to cover up on one side where my hair is a little thinner and it fills it in and looks perfect! Can't say enough good things about this product

amazing product, covered my grey/white hair perfectly, great for a quick fix and its waterproof !! easy to apply, only the bit at the back of parting might need some help but great at fixing the main parting and the bits around the hairline, also used it on my eyebrows !!

The product did not meet my expectation, was not up to mark. Since it is in powder form it spills on clothes while applying, have to be careful while applying . The forehead greys are not covered. When you are using the brush the powder comes on the mirror. I have hardly used the product and the brush is lost its shape. When applied in the partition you get sticky feeling when you run your fingers through.

Ne camoufle pas les cheveux blanc, mais par contre il permet de colorer le cuir chevelu, pour rendre les racines moins visibles, cela fait illusion et permet d'être présentable entre 2 colorations, si comme moi vous avez les cheveux peu denses autour du visage. Le pinceau permet d'appliquer de façon précise et naturelle, sans avoir l'effet "casque". J'ai pris noir pour des cheveux très bruns.
