This jack Failed on the 1st use do not buy!
I was doing a rear brake service on my vw mk6 gti. I raised up one side of the car at a time to replace the rotors and pads. I used the scissor jack to lift the car then placed jack stands underneath it. Everything worked fine on the left side of the car. But when I went to lower the car using the scissor jack on the right side of the car, I heard a loud "PSSH" and a "pop" I thought I had popped a tire or something. But upon completely lowering the car I pulled out the scissor jack and saw that the that arms are no longer aligned. The teeth in the upper section of the jack skipped/jumped and now the jack is useless. I tried straightening the jack out, to get the teeth to line up again. But it was not able to re-align itself.Literally 1st time using this jack and the thing failed. I'm so happy I was not under the car and that I was able to still lower the car slowly. But I will not be using this jack ever again.

CAUTION: Weak jack
Only buy this jack for emergency backup. These stands have next to zero horizontal stability. If you buy these stands for working on your car, make sure to support your car with jack stands and lower these back down or they will KILL YOU.

Remember, this is a 3 use jack.
Be okay to carry for emergency use. But don't expect to use it much. Tolerances are too loose. And remember to lightly grease the bolt.

Worked once
Worked once on a Light SUV the second time the threads on the screw began to seize up even though the were well greased.

Piece of junk
This lasted two uses, and then the screw got stripped somehow and it was a nightmare to get off. Good thing that happened in the garage, because it would have been really bad on the side of the road. Avoid this jack.

Would not buy again, you shouldn't either and currently looking for a better one.
