Proze is a growing UK brand specialising in Audio and Video. Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Car Camera - Your Road Solution Perfect for drivers both new and old, the Proze Dash Cam offers high definition recording and easy installation for both front and rear cameras. Full HD recording gives clear footage and allows you to capture everything. Never miss a number plate again and keep your no claims bonus safe. Loop recording allows your recordings to keep going with the ability to lock the footage you want to keep. You get a bright and clear 4" display to clearly see what your camera sees. You can also turn off the screen while still recording so you are not distracted by the camera. Enhanced night vision allows you to continue seeing every detail into the early hours of the morning and with the long winter nights upon us, it's even more important to have a camera that actually can see in the dark. 8 LED lights provide the best night visibility on a dash camera. Rear camera with 120º angle and picture in picture playback mode, allows you to see everything you may otherwise miss. Don't feel threatened by what's behind you again. And with over 5 metres of cable for the rear camera, you will have enough to fit any large vehicle or van. 170º wide angle lens allows you to see every lane when on the motorway and more then enough to capture everything on both sides of the road. G-Sensor allows for any shake or movement of the camera to be captured. This makes the camera lock down its files in the event of a shunt or when combined with the parking guard means that any nudge to your vehicle will be captured. Motion detection will activate a burst recording to be captured in parking guard. So anyone hanging around your vehicle will be captured on camera and saved, for you to check later. Backup battery gives up to 24 hrs of parking guard with 3-5 minutes of video footage recorded, when activated by the motion detection or G sensor . The back up battery also allows the camera to lock and save any files as a result of G sensor activation in the event of an incident. With its high end, slim line design and easy to use features, you will find the Proze Dash Cam 4.0 will help to protect your pride and joy, keeping you and your insurance happy. A Picture Paints a Thousand Words.. Crystal clear audio and video will be everything you need in the event of a traffic incident. The Proze Dash Cam sits silently inside your car collecting everything you need to make sure you and your family are safe and secure. Protect yourself from dangerous driving and insurance fraud. The G-Sensor is activated by movement and you can even set how sensitive you want the camera to be, so the slightest shake will wake it up and start it recording from off. Or a heavy hit will make the camera lock down and save all files, until a time when thy can be safely reviewed. Parking Guard Worried about leaving your pride and joy over night or parking in the busy super market car park? Now you know your vehicle is being monitored at all times and will catch any wrongdoers.Parking Guard, once enabled, will use the battery back up to turn on and record a 30 second burst recording once activated by either the G-Sensor or the Motion detector in the front camera and save all recordings. By Day AND by Night Best Night Vision with Enhanced Night Vision. Created by 8 IR and LED light, creating clear night vision, where you can still see the details that matter and still see number plates. The night vision on the Proze Dash Cam 4.0 gives you the picture you will need to remain safe in the knowledge that all is still being recorded and is still visible, day or night and the internal image correction also means that heavy rain and fog do not block the picture. Even then you will still get a clear recording, which is just how it should be. AND a Rear Camera Which doubles as a reversing camera... It's not just at the front you need to be aware, things do happen from behind, so you will love that you have dual cameras, one front and one rear. The rear camera will record and is saved as a separate video recording, so you will always a clear full picture for both the front and rear.ALSO wire in the small read wore as per the wiring diagram in the instructions and your rear camera will double as a reversing camera, when you select reverse. This will give you that extra safety and security when manoeuvring in car parks.Rear camera can still be used without connecting the reverse wire, no reverse camera function will be enabled. THERE'S MORE Loop Recording Loop Recording will mean that once enabled in the settings, the camera will continue to record whilst powered on and will record everything and once the memory card is full it will start again and just overwrite the oldest recordings with the new ones. Don't worry though, if there is footage you want to keep then all you have to do is select it and lock it, this will prevent it from being overwritten, and this can be done with 2 pushes of a button. Review: Excellent Value for Money - I replaced my front facing Dash Cam with this front and rear camera's kit. The main Camera build is excellent, a very professional looking piece of equipment.. The rear camera is a dinky, less than one inch square cube that sits neatly and unobtrusively inside the rear window. The functions available are much more comprehensive than my previous considerably more expensive single camera. The support from the Sellers in response to my queries has been excellent. The one fault I had, was the inadequacy of the supplied Manual, the Sellers are composing a much more comprehensive Manual. Great product, great sellers, great support team Review: Screen image does not show a mirror image for the rear camera. - Good points: The camera looks good. Bad points: The suction cup is really bad. It sticks on the windscreen for 2 mins before the camera crashes on to the dash board. The rear camera does not show a mirror image! So as your looking into the screen the image is reversed... which confuses the heck out of you when you look at the screen. ## Features - FULL HD DASHCAM: With 1080p Full HD and a large 4" screen this dash cam will allow you to catch every detail. A crystal clear image displayed in realtime on the large screen means you will have all the details you need, should you ever need them. - ULTRA WIDE ANGLE LENS: 170 degree ultra wide angle 6g lens, with 6 glass frame fixed lens, giving better light transmission and paired with HDR, allows for greater details and colour details in your recordings. - G-SENSOR, LOOP RECORDING AND MORE: The Proze Dual Dash Cam comes with a gravity sensor, so when your car is knocked or bumped the g-sensor will activate the camera. Loop recording will mean that your camera will not stop when your memory card is full, loop recording will keep your camera recording. (32 GB Class 10 Micro SD Card not included) - PARKING GUARD: When you turn off the engine the camera auto shuts off, though the battery will wake the camera up if the motion or g sensors are activated and the camera records, so you can relax knowing your vehicle is being monitored. - NIGHT VISION AND UPGRADED REAR CAMERA: Enhanced night vision, allows you to capture everything when driving at night as well. The upgraded 720p rear camera will ensure nothing is missed at the back and can double as a rear parking camera. Protect yourself and order now. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07D61BKP9 | | Are Batteries Included? | Yes | | Auto Part Orientation | Drivers Side | | Auto Part Position | Front | | Battery Cell Type | Lithium Ion | | Box Contents | Dash Camera, Windscreen Mount, Rear Camera, 5V Power Lead, Cable fixing kit, Instruction Manual | | Brand | Proze | | Brand Name | Proze | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Audi, BMW, KIA, Skoda, Ford, Vauxhall, Mercedes, VW, Vans, Lorries | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 3.5 out of 5 stars 114 Reviews | | Display Type | LCD | | Flash Memory Type | MicroSD | | Included components | Dash Camera, Windscreen Mount, Rear Camera, 5V Power Lead, Cable fixing kit, Instruction Manual | | Item Weight | 80 Grams | | Manufacturer | Proze | | Manufacturer Part Number | DC-4.0 | | Model Number | P-DC-4.0 | | Mounting Type | Adhesive Mount | | Mounting type | Adhesive Mount | | Other Special Features of the Product | 5MP Camera, Loop Recording, Rear Camera, Reversing Camera, Parking Monitor, G Sensor | | Real Angle of View | 170 Degrees | | Screen Size | 4 Inches | | Special feature | 5MP Camera, Loop Recording, Rear Camera, Reversing Camera, Parking Monitor, G Sensor | | Vehicle service type | Car | | Video Capture Resolution | 1080p | | Video capture resolution | 1080p | ## Images ![Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Front and Rear In Car Camera Full HD Parking Guard - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81197WR4EDL.jpg) ![Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Front and Rear In Car Camera Full HD Parking Guard - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81AwgCy09KL.jpg) ![Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Front and Rear In Car Camera Full HD Parking Guard - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Obi1ahFVL.jpg) ![Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Front and Rear In Car Camera Full HD Parking Guard - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/910L3oLspwL.jpg) ![Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Front and Rear In Car Camera Full HD Parking Guard - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RbeY7qzzL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Value for Money *by E***Y on 23 September 2018* I replaced my front facing Dash Cam with this front and rear camera's kit.
