Proze Dash Cam 4.0 Dual Front and Rear In Car Camera Full HD Parking Guard

When I unpacked it, it looked OK, but then I tried to charge the battery before installing it in the car. It did not appear to charge. Nevertheless I installed it to see if it would at least record something. It is not easy to install, the camera screws on to the mounting and the suction mounting did not stick to the window reliably. Running the wires to the front and back was not straight forward and fitting the rear view camera was awkward. It recorded OK from the car power and the picture quality was just about acceptable during the day but was poor at night; even with the lights on the front of the camera. After some discussion with the seller it appears that the camera is not intended to be used stand alone, it must be plugged in in order to operate. This explains why the mounting is firmly attached to the camera. The battery is only intended to operate for a few seconds after power is removed, just enough time to save the last recording. This is unfortunate in the case of an accident where the power might be lost because the camera will stop recording the incident. This feature also means the camera cannot be taken out of the car to record additional images or video of the incident.

I replaced my front facing Dash Cam with this front and rear camera's kit. The main Camera build is excellent, a very professional looking piece of equipment.. The rear camera is a dinky, less than one inch square cube that sits neatly and unobtrusively inside the rear window. The functions available are much more comprehensive than my previous considerably more expensive single camera. The support from the Sellers in response to my queries has been excellent. The one fault I had, was the inadequacy of the supplied Manual, the Sellers are composing a much more comprehensive Manual. Great product, great sellers, great support team

This Dash Cam is fairly easy to install and set up. The manual that came with it isn't great but I downloaded a better one from the manufacturer's website. I haven't wired it into the reversing light as I don't have it positioned in a place where I would be able to view the rear cam image.I had an issue with it randomly stopping recording and contacted the seller who replied quickly and the easy fix is to reset the unit. I did this and it is working fine now. The seller is very helpful.Update 11/07/2019. This dash cam was put to the test yesterday when my car was rear-ended. I have been able to take the footage off the card and send it to my insurance company. This is a great value dash cam, I'm so glad I decided to go with this model with the rear camera. I would recommend it to everyone.

Bought one of these just after Christmas. Firstly would like to say that the picture quality is superb and its easy to set up.BUT... the first camera had a problem in that it would randomly stop recording (ie the red numbers and recording circle would just disappear for no apparent reason). I thought it might have been a problem with the SD card so i bought another one. However the problem continued. In fairness to the seller i did email them directly and they refunded the cost of the SD card i bought and sent me another dashcam. I have had this for about 2 weeks now and am having exactly the same problem as before. The camera stops recording or no reason then starts recording again randomly. The length of time it will record for is also random. As with the first camera i got it also tells me that i need to format the SD card, even though i have done this in accordance with the instructions sent with the camera. I cover a lot of miles and need a camera i can rely on to do the job it is supposed to. I'll have to chalk this one down to experience but i guess for meit's back to searching for a dashcam.

I have had the unit professionaly installed and all I had to do was install the card format it and set up the system, about 10 minutes later it was up and running, well pleased as the system in my other car cost £450 about 4 years ago.

I purchased this dash cam on this promise:"Never miss a license plate, save on your premiums and keep your no claims bonus, because the Proze Dash Camera features an Ultra-wide angle (170 deg) 1080HD, 30FPS camera!"Even if recording when the car is stationary in a queue of traffic numbers plates on a vehicle just a few feet away also stationary are not that clear. Factor into the equation driving along at speed and number plates on vehicles at typical distances are impossible to make out.

Bought for my partner at Christmas he is thrilled with it, fitting instructions for rear camera not very clear, but forward camera was clear. Suitable for a ford transit van

I already have a dash came but what I liked about this is the rear camera so that's why I purchased it for my husband . It was quite easy to fit and the size of the screen is excellent .
