the switch was all that I expected. It was exactly like the original. I would give it a 5 star rating and advise anyone to purchase it as a replacement for the original. My only suggestion would be that it would have been very helpful if some kind of instructions would have been sent with it, explaining how to get to the wiring connections. I thought the little screw inside the hole in the top was a pressure adjustment screw and I was afraid to mess with it. I went on line and ask the question and was advised that it was indeed the screw that held the top on, and you could get to the connections that way. I have NEVER given a bad review on anything I have received form Amazon- but this switch was a exact replacement for the one on my 15 year old shop compressor- it looked the same , but after installing and it failed to work (no wiring diagram ether, although I have done all the wiring for my 40 x 70" shop) I looked close to see what may be at fault, the pivot point for the cut in/out paddle was metal on plastic (the original had brass liner at least) the plastic was much softer- just to name a few things, I'm not going to waste anymore of my time- just take my experience and DON'T waste your time w/ this very cheap switch- I know it's not Amazon's fault, I will buy a much better switch (or a new compressor)

Fit and worked fine, practically all inexpensive air compressors use this switch, comes with nut and ferrule for bleeder line and had to use it as thread was different from original also wire grip was different but included.
