My hair is the longest it's ever been, reaching halfway down my back. It’s super fine, heavily bleached, and has slightly frizzy ends. When my old, no-name straighteners suddenly stopped working, my friend recommended the Dyson Airwrap. I bought it, tried it, returned it. I liked the little-heat concept, but the curls barely lasted 10 minutes before falling out, and it was a lengthy process even on almost dry hair.So, I went back to searching for a reliable straightener—and found this one. It works for me! The rounded shape and easy clamping mechanism make it effortless to create barrel curls, and since I can control the heat, they actually hold. If your curls aren’t staying, try increasing the temperature. I set mine to 200/220°C with the fan on. When I brush my hair the next day it still has nice waves and super volume.It’s much quicker than the Airwrap, and because the barrel stays cool, I don’t constantly burn myself like I did with my old straighteners. It’s also great for straightening and smoothing frizzy ends. After reading reviews, I watched some YouTube tutorials to perfect my technique. Small sections work best for curls—brushing through each section helps the plates glide smoothly. It can tug a little if you accidentally grab hair from another section, but with practice, I’m sure that won’t be an issue for long.

I have used lots of heat tools to curl/wave my hair.... they wave or curl never ever stays in, walk outside and the wave drops and hair is straight again. Or I end up with sticky out bits (my hair is just below my ear lobe in a blunt bob) Even my GHD's are not great for holding curls in my hair! I thought it was just my hair! Used these 3 times now and they are the best ever...! hair curls stay in all day! I would highly recommend, no knack to it either. I use temp 180 with fan on

I have never been able to curl my own hair. In fact I'd go as far as to say I'm totally useless at styling my hair full stop!! I've bought so many hair stylers/hairdryers and products in the past which all claim to make hair styling easy...they clearly had not met me before!! All that has changed since I bought the Le Duo. I have a chin length bob so bought the shorter version of the styler. I have to say it has totally revolutionised how I now style my hair! It's so easy to use. I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos first as I did, that really helped me understand how to do a "beach wave" as opposed to a curl. That said I can curl my hair with the le duo, if I wanted to and it still looks modern and not like my mum looked circa 1970!! If you, like me, have always struggled with styling your hair, please give the le duo a go, I'm confident you won't be disappointed.

Struggle to get them heated up and find hard to use than I’ve seen demonstrated

I have tried countless times to curl my hair with a flat iron, with complete failure. After 2 or 3 attempts I can now curl my hair and it last easily and quickly. Not sure whether it is the airflow (I turn the fan off) or the oval shape of the barrel or the smoothness of the ceramic but it definitely works wonders on my straight, fine and limp hair

I turned this one and followed instructions, but it did absolutely nothing for me hair. Not a kink, wave, or anything I returned the same day

I had been looking at this product on YouTube for a while but as it was an American brand i didnt think I could buy it here in the UK. But I decided to look for it and found it on Amazon. I looked at the reviews and was fairly confident that it would come with the UK plug, so I ordered it, it actually was supplied by Lange uk. Im so glad I did! It came with a Uk plug and the temperatures was also in centigrade. I have tried it out a few times now and its so much easier to curl my hair with, then normal straighteners. I am so impressed with this product, the reviews on YouTube were all correct its amazing. This is my new top favourite hair curler, plus the bonus is you can use it the straighten as well. So pleased I bought it.

Yes, this is a bit of a pricey hair tool but as an absolute rubbish in terms of curling my own hair-I managed to get beautiful, defined curls that lasted the whole day the very first time I opened the box and tried it. Not to mention you can use it as a straightener, too.Could not recommend enough. So easy to work with, doesn't burn and is just perfect size.
