Suspected we had some mice in the shed. Popped it in a few days back and kept an eye on it, this morning I found a little tiny field mouse inside. Simple mechanism but seems to work well.Edit: Another night, another mouse. Definitely seems to work. :) ### ⭐ I agree...they are worse than useless! *by M***N on 17 December 2019* I had good intentions of catching a mouse or mice that had eaten a Christmas present intended for grand-daughter and depositing it/them a long way from home but still alive! Daft! These so-called 'traps' are absolutely useless. On one occasion the bait disappeared but the trap wasn't closed, and an another the trap was shut but the bait had gone! Only one of the two worked properly and they were just a waste of postage! I gave up and set a conventional trap and immediately caught the culprit. Very dead, but at least I'd got him!Other humane traps may well work, but these particular ones, which trigger the door by the trap tipping under the weight of the mouse when it enters are a waste of time. In one that came the plastic was moulded so badly that the door didn't work properly. ### ⭐⭐⭐ given the right circumstances - ie a mouse being present instead of something bigger - the device may actually have worked fine. *by A***F on 2 January 2017* I don't know whether to just laugh at what happened when we got this product... I'm guessing we had a rat instead of a mouse, because both of the traps had disappeared when we looked for them the following day.I've given this 3 stars instead of 2 because, given the right circumstances - ie a mouse being present instead of something bigger - the device may actually have worked fine.Oh, well, looks like we have happy rats - they now have something to play with.
