New Solutions PRC540 Push Rims Covers 24 in. for Wheelchair, Black Vinyl - Set of 2

Bought these for my husbands spare chair, which he uses outside in bad weather. Grip is important and the metal rim rails don't help outside in the cold. This is just what we've been looking for and the price was much more reasonable than other suppliers. They fit the 24" wheels like a glove and we were able to install them in a few minutes. They don't slip and they appear to be quality made out of quality material so we expect them to out last the chair. Couldn't be happier.

I bought these covers in January 2019, so have only used them during cold months. So far, they're exactly what I wanted. A friend installed them while I was sitting in the chair - simply stretched and worked them over the rims. They pick up a little bit of crud, but it wipes off. AND they make it so much easier to grip the rims and increase the power of my pushing. Have had no problem with them stretching so far; we'll see what happens in warm/hot weather.26 April 2023 - these coverrs are a little over 4 years old and have had heavy use. They have stretched a little just recently. Since I just got a new chair, I'm buying these exact covers again. Great product.

Super easy to install! Just slips right over a stainless steel pushrim. If you're a quadriplegic I need extra grip for pushing, this is your product! Compared to buying pushrims that come pre-coated these are a deal pricewise! Plus if you're like me and you nick them every now and then, they're super easy and inexpensive to replace. I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer in the future!

This product is awesom! My wheelchair had smooth push rims so it was difficult to push with any speed. Also the push rims allowed my hands to slip and it caused cuts on both hands. Once my husband put them on the push rims I was immediately able to push without slipping and cutting my thumbs. My husband installed them easily in less than five minutes. Great product all the way around!

I wore out another mfg grips which I liked, but they are no longer available. So, I tried these and they are really nice. I like them better than my previous ones. I think they will last longer. Great grip improvement for me. Rugs and carpet are much less of a hassle.

If they get wet you don’t have any grip! They need to be less slick.. my hand rims have ‘burs’ and these do protect my hands from those.. my old covers were much better I just can’t find them anymore. I won’t buy this item again I’ll look for another option.

I bought them for a friend. she was able to put them on by her self , and loves them.

These rim.covers do not last and fall off within 3 weeks. Our daughter who had strokes is wheelchair bound and needs something to allow her to grip the wheel rims. They were great for 3 weeks...not satisfactory. Attempting to return with required payment of shipping and insurance, before refund possible. Finding this a very dissatisfactory purchase overall!!!Disabled daughter very unhappy that rims did not provide needed safety and mobility. Do not recommend.
