In 2019 I bought the highly rated Sony XBR-55A8F. But I was not aware of the Sony L600 Wireless Digital Surround Dolby Audio Sound Overhead Headphones. What a difference they make for movies, music and news on TV, including streaming. My sound travels through an optical cable to the headphones stand, which contains a wireless transmitter to the headphones . I wish I had bought them when I bought the TV.The sound is typical Sony. No need to elaborate.he earphone cups fit over my ears comfortably. The headband is a little too large for my 6 7/8" hat size head and cannot be downsized. So the headphones slip a little over time and become a little uncomfortable until reset on my head.I think the headphones are expensive. However, I cannot deny that they deliver great sound with 3 dynamic ranges in most areas of my apartment. I can do what I need to do and keep up with what I am listening to. My TV screen is mounted on a stand that swivels to accommodate my position.

They sound good and do seem to be quite a bit less erratic than my Turtle Beach 800s (which are a bit prone to crashing & squealing every so often). They don't have Bluetooth, but I use other headphones when I need that. Sound quality is fairly good and there are a few audio presets to play with - perfectly adequate for watching TV and listening to music. Surround sound is somewhat less than convincing, though a little experimentation will help you find what sounds best. With most content, bass is above average - these headphones do give movies a little extra thump. Battery life has been pretty good, so I'm moving my rating up from 3 to 4 stars.

TL;DR: Excellent sound for one user with a television that has HDMI ARC. The ear pads should be replaceable or swappable with cloth pads as the Sennheiser RS series are.I've tried a few different options for listening to my TV content, this setup is the best-sounding currently available unit I've tried. I've compared this Sony to a few Sennheiser units - RS 120 (now discontinued), RS 185, and RS 195. I've also tried out a few low-latency Bluetooth headphones (Apt-X LL), which all pretty much suck. My two TV sets are an LCD Bravia (2018) and an OLED LG (2019), both connected via Ethernet and with mini-jack/optical/ARC outputs. I used both mini-jack and optical with the Sennheiser units and this headset. My goal was decent sound and no sound clipping, not too interested in range, I'm the only person watching the TV.The RS 185/195 are both sensitive to sound clipping around wifi and cellular devices. The RS 120 utilizes KLEER for a wireless connection - if you can find this headset, just go buy it as the sound is great and sonically satisfying; I have no idea why Sennheiser gave up on KLEER with the current RS headsets - my RS 195 is back in the box. This Sony's sound is IMHO comparable to the RS 120 but with better sound profiles and no clipping. For single-person usage, both the RS 120 and this unit are IMHO the best wireless headsets available. For multi-person usage, either of the two Sennheiser headsets are your only option - be sure to place the base far away from any wifi and Bluetooth sources.Yes, I'd buy this Sony headset again.

These Sony headphones must be the only wireless headphones which base/charger connect to a TV via HDMI arc port! The TV this way switched the sound and remembers the volume settings of the headphones and TV speakers. You can also control the headphones volume with tv remote! As soon as you put the headphones back to the charger the tv switched back to the tv speakers at their original volume level. This is how well it works with Sony OLED TV, and I thing with all TVs with an HDMI arc connection.As for the sound quality and comfort of these headphones, it is top-notch. It really simulate 7.1 very well, with full sound and impressive base levels. There is no lag so the sound is always in sync with the video. Also it has a much better range than BT.

I am rating these headphones at 3 stars, because the sound quality is decent and they are quite comfortable. The audio quality would be rated more highly if they could output at a higher volume, however they do fall a bit short in the volume department.We would have kept these, however they are not compatible with our configuration, which is television audio output from a Sony Bravia to a Denon receiver. The headphones cannot work with such a setup, audio can play through headphones and TV speakers, but cannot play in our configuration (TV audio via an AV receiver, along with audio via the headphones).As mentioned, we would have kept the headphones, even with the less than perfect audio, but if we can’t play through the receiver when using the headphones, it defeats our purpose. My wife prefers audio at a lower volume, but with the benefit of surround sound provided by the AV receiver. I prefer audio at a higher volume, and the intent of the headphones was to meet both of our needs. Unfortunately, there was no apparent way to do that.So, three stars - but they are goin back - and we’re disappointed they couldn’t meet the requirements for our use case.

My son bought me a pair last year at Christmas and I liked the clarity and comfort of the Sony L 600 wireless digital headphones that I purchased a second pair for the bedroom. The family can watch TV at a reduced volume and I can adjust the headphones so that I can hear and now do not need caption on. If you have a hearing impairment I would recommend this device. It is more expensive, but well worth your investment.

I loved these headsets. I wanted a good one for my TV and this one fits well with my TV's optical point.Sound Quality is Excellent.Installation was very easy and Range is good as well.Though, the Quality is all good, i think these are on Expensive side. The cost could have been lower.

La cuffia è arrivata puntualmente.Però non ho potuto provarla perché il prodotto proviene dal mercato usa con alimentatore a 110 volt e con spina specifica.Tale cuffia non doveva essere destinata al mercato italiano.
