Carlinkit Mini SE Pro Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter

Very easy to install and get setup. Works as it should every time you turn the car on. Great peace of kit.

I've been using this Bluetooth Car adaptor now for just over a month to begin with everything worked fine now for no reason the adaptor keeps losing its connection for example voice commands are breaking up or no command at all . After just over a month at a cost of £50 you would expect the product to perform better than it is . My car hasn't changed my phone hasn't changed and neither has the adaptor so why after such a short time of using it. Ive contacted support with little or no help at all I've just sent them another email asking for more support or help ill probably have to complain to Amazon if i get no joy. So if your reading this review and thinking about purchasing one of these wireless adaptors be aware of the problems you may face if you encounter problems. I drive a 2024 Ford Puma and my phone is a Samsung s24 Ultra so i would not have thought I'm using outdated devices.

I’d avoided buying one of these for ages as the reviews seemed mixed, but having seen this one recommended on YouTube I gave it a go. It’s great. I plugged it in, paired it with my phone and have not touched it since. Phone connects every time and CarPlay is displayed within a few seconds. Works just as well as a wired connection for calls, gps directions and music etc. Very happy with it!

This review is for "Carlinkit MINI SE Pro 2 in 1 Wireless Adapter for Wireless CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto." Whilst this wireless adapter did work perfectly well in my car, transforming my wired Android Auto to wireless - it did have one major drawback. It is a large dongle, and since there is only one place to plug it in (inside my central storage rest) it constantly gets in the way and gets knocked out of place. As a result I didnt keep using it, as there are much more compact designs available. It connects within about 90s of starting the car, which is a bit slow, although when it failed to connect I usually found it had been knocked from the USB socket. The android phone needs to have both BT and WiFi on in order to connect wirelessly. The price at the time of review was around £34, normally £40 which is fair.

Very easy to use. Connects to Bluetooth with no problems. Fully functional interface and I like that I can leave this in the car. It also means I do not have to have my phone charging all the time thus depleting the battery life.

Bought for our Motorhome that has a Zentec radio with wired car play. It works although not been on a trip yet so time will tell if it disconnects as others have reported But…… how does it work ? The manual is poor, very poor, it connects to my iPhone 16 as Bluetooth. Then disconnects the Bluetooth, but it turns my WiFi on and connects to the device? But it works. Upgrading the firmware is a leap of faith. Two options but both in Chinese, Eventually said success. No idea what some of the menus do when you connect to up address that is specified.

“Plug & Play” out of the box! Excellent piece of kit - worked exactly as described! Recommended. (Purchased after a cheaper version did not work.)

Worked well for about 2 weeks and then entirely stopped connecting. Unable to troubleshoot and unable to get any meaningful customer service answers. Despite repeated contact to the company support email, I am simply directed to connect the dongle and update it - which is impossible as it doesn’t connect at all. A lot of money for something that doesn’t work.

It’s good for wired android auto and apple play vehicles , easy to use

Car ised for this review : Hyundai Elantra Limited 2023 This wireless carplay adapter is the best on the market. Its as fast as with the cable and it connects the second its detected by the infotainment system. It works super reliably in my car. It basically plug and play!

Love this piece of tech, does exactly what you need it to, planning to upgrade it to 1 of the options that lets you access YouTube and other streaming apps soon, but this one was perfect.

Ho scelto il Carlinkit MINI SE PRO perche mi è sembrata una scelta sensata per il presente e il futuro. Dotato sia di presa USB-A che di Type-C e quindi posso usarlo sia sulla mia auto attuale che trasferirlo in quella futura grazie alla molteplicità di adattatori. Posso accoppiarlo sia a dispositivi Android che Apple. Non ha cavi o altro e non scivola da nessuna parte ma rimane inserito nella presa. Ha la disponibilità di aggiornamenti OTA suggeriti dalla comunity e permette di risolvere eventuali bug legati ad aggiornamenti dovuti da Carplay o Android Auto. Mi consente di non tirare fuori il cellulare dallo zaino per collegarlo fisicamente all’auto, si accoppia allo smartphone e al dispositivo dell’auto in modalità radio. Piena compatibilità con i sistemi bluetooth e comandi al volante presenti, buona reattività. Nella media il rapporto qualità prezzo.
