Chinchilla Nest Box - Handmade in USA

My 33-year-old Senegal parrot has slept in this box every night for a year and a half, and he LOVES it! He pops in for daytime naps, sometimes, too. I mounted it horizontally (to give him more room) in the corner of the cage about 15” from the cage floor. The 4” hole in the wooden “door” allows him to enter and exit easily, and of course I put soft, comfy materials inside, which he rearranged to his liking. The provided hardware fastens it VERY securely to the side of the cage. My parrot has an arthritic foot that makes it hard for him to grip perches, so this way he can just relax when snoozing without risking a fall. I think even young, fit parrots (small enough to fit) would enjoy it. I’m really grateful to the manufacturers for this perfect solution to my problem, and for the extremely high quality of the box.

Its ok I wish it was more easy to hang on the cage like the big Wheel I purchased.

This is THE Best nest box i have ever bought for my chinchilla - it's sturdy, he doesn't get the urge to chew the wood and it's solid, excellent craftsmanship!

My grey squirrel, Penny, loves her nest box from Quality Cage Crafters!!! She took to it almost immediately and has already abandoned the other "nest" in her cage.She stuffed this one with small squares of fleece and recycled denim moving blanket squares so its nice, soft & cozy! I love that if she chews, I can just replace the wooden panel.Highly recommend these nest boxes for chinchillas AND grey squirrels! Thanks so much, Quality Cage Crafters!!
