These are great and the wire is hard and doesn't squish or snag on anything. The paper is smooth, nice weight and enjoyable to write on. They are a little expensive for wire bound notebooks, but I'm not a burning through them writing tons of notes so it's OK to treat myself with these. You should be able to catch these on sale once in a while.

I found these in a bookstore about 2 years ago and bought a few. I'm a writer and love notebooks. These caught my eye because they aren't overly thick, their size is just a little smaller than traditional 8.5 x 11 notebooks, and their college rule lines are my preference. I end up writing in series or projects and the size of these with their number of pages allows me to keep notes of projects. The cover has lines that let me add details so I can quickly go back to a project to review it. And, because the pages are a good number but not as large as traditional notebooks I actual fill one out entirely instead of leaving half-filled notebooks everywhere. I opted to buy the ten pack because I will use them. They are a favorite.

A really outstanding notebook. 6.5 mm is a great rule spacing. Paper is very high quality. Perforations are perfect. Covers are sturdy (you’ll still need a hard surface to write on, but they’ll hold up if you’re not abusing them). B5 is the perfect size. I really love this spiral notebook (something I never thought I’d have occasion to write is say). Highly recommend!

Love the size, rule spacing and paper.

I had never used any notebook so far with this kind of high quality paper. I use gel pens, pilot and fountain pens. I love the fact that the ink doesnot make the paper look bad on the other side, this shows how thick the paper is. It is very smooth too. The only problem is it is little expensive then other notebooks in the market. This is my first time using Japanes notebooks and I'm very satisfied with the overall best quality.
