Nice mild taste, slightly chocolatey. It blends well in warm liquids (be careful not to go above 175° to preserve the benefits!) I didn't see right away, but this should be stored in the fridge after opening.

Received product today for second time, and this product was packaged VERY WELL this time!! Upon opening the heat seal across top, no notice of spillage of contents on outside of zip lock and was completely sealed this time. I used some in my coffee this morning and taste very good. I'll let you know after using for awhile how it is. I heard that the mushrooms that's in this product is supposed to be very good for you! You all need to go out and order some of this!!!! I notice a great difference with this product. When I first got it - was really shocked at how small the package / volume provided was... but it is very potent and effective. I also noticed to keep it refrigerated. I add it to my other morning, coffee alternative, day starter - and, well, that little bit that is their use size, it goes a very long ways.... which is why after a year or close there to, I buy and use.

I was surprised in a good way by the flavor. I added this powder to my chocolate protein drink, which tasted good. It has a rich, almost, I would say, nutty taste. I’m not good at describing flavors, but it made my chocolate taste better cause. Usually, protein shakes kinda have that chucks. It kind of polished out the edges and gave it a little darker chocolate flavor, but not bitter at all. I’m excited to try it again. I left it at my office, oops. I wish more were in the bag, but the portion was much smaller than I anticipated. I know I should’ve known because it says how much on the back. That’s the only thing I didn’t like about this; there was so little, and I paid quite a bit. I don’t know if I’ll repurchase it just because of the price, but I do say that if you aren’t worried about the price, the flavor is excellent. If you aren’t concerned with the price, the flavor is great.

a little pricey for the amount of mushroom powder

So, I have learned a lot while touring the islands and one thing is certain: fresh produce is somewhat of a challenge. Being vegan, this means less variety which could lead to a weaker immune system. I am on a mission to find some easily portable supplements that are easy to carry, ingest, and with good shelf life. I am taking this specific product with me when I head back to the islands again next week. The package is small; each dose is just a quarter teaspoon, so this is 60 servings that can fit in your pocket. There are numerous benefits associated with mushroom extract including immunity boost and it appears to increase oxygen in the blood by dilating the aorta, thus increasing the amount of oxygenated blood to the entire circulatory system. While I like science and reports, I get excited about a product when there is a noticed change in the way I feel. It may be early, but I am noticing a more alert mind set. I'll continue to check in. I gave 5 stars for the added bonus being organic, gluten free, no fillers, and it is not organically engineered. The powder is easy to mix and it really isn't even noticed because the amount of the dose is so small. As far as value, the bag looks small, but that's a benefit for me because it takes up no space and it still gives 60 servings.
