but largish thighs so I tend to avoid all non-stretch clothing like the plague as I've always found that if jeans/trousers ...
I normally don't leave reviews but feel I had to in this case (hope some of you ladies find it useful):I am a large-ish size uk12 (10 is way too small but a 14 is a little too big) & my leg length is on the short side of regular (although a 'short' is too short). I have an hourglass figure, but largish thighs so I tend to avoid all non-stretch clothing like the plague as I've always found that if jeans/trousers fit my thighs, they are too big for my waist.... Sound familiar? Read on...Anyway, I fell in love with the look of these jeans & just had to order a pair to try. I wasn't holding out much hope as my track record of normal jeans (let alone motorbike jeans) isn't great, but I figured I could send them back if they fitted how I expected them to.I opted for a 30 & delivery was super quick. So far, so good :-)They came in what looks like a waterproof fabric bag which had double Velcro fastening (must admit, this took me longer to open than the Amazon outer box! Lol). Inside were the jeans & additional optional protective pads.I cannot express how amazed I was to find just how well they fit. Yes, they are a typical regular length, but they are super comfortable, stretchy & the panel makes it extremely easy to get your leg over the bike. They are extended up the back enough that you don't have to worry about a possible builders bum appearing after spending a while on your bike too.Ok, if I was being picky, the waistband could do with being half an inch bigger & the knee pad areas could do with being half an inch higher for me, but this isn't a major problem (as they are still comfortable) & it's certainly not enough to put me off. These are by far the best motorbike jeans I've tried, so much so, that I'd love to order the waterproof version (trilobite agnox), but they are sadly out of my price range :-( think I may have to write to Santa this year!... Lol.

Can't fault the protection but not quite what you think you see in the photos
I ordered these based on the level of protection they came with - inclusive of hip armour which is an optional extra purchase with other riding jeans and a really good heat resistance rating for longer slides across the tarmac in the event of an off.I had a specific aesthetic in mind - something skinny leg to tuck into my boots for a feminine look to offset a bulky leather jacket that I need sized that way to fit across my shoulders and back (I lift heavy weights). Whilst the photos made it look as if the leg taper would be conducive to this, you can see from the photos that the cut most certainly does not. Jeans to be worn over my boots then...I have a notoriously difficult time with getting trousers and jeans in day-to-day life to fit anyway - I have a slim waist and a backside and thighs that support squatting 120kg. No different getting biker jeans to fit, and unfortunately for me to get something over my thighs I need a larger waist than I actually have which in the case of these jeans leaves me looking like I have a middle aged spread when in actuality I have visible abs! The jeans in two or three sizes down would be a good representation of what is in the advertised images, but not at higher up sizes (I ordered the 30").If you're in possession of an average bodyshape then these jeans will be super for you and you simply cannot fault the level of protection. If you're awkward to find regular jeans though then you're taking a bit of a risk with ordering these - seriously just go to your local bike shop and have the hassle of trying things on there and then.A note on the seller. These jeans were ordered on next day delivery so I had them for a day trip a week ago - they came on time but without any impact protection at the hip and knee. I contacted the seller and challenged them on it, and to their credit they contacted the manufacturer same day as I raised the challenge. I had to chase for any sort of updates though and the protection finally arrived 7 days after the jeans did.I'm not cheesed off enough to send back and request a refund, but neither product or seller have an advocate or champion in me.
