Great measuring tape. Don't mind the bad reviews, the tape starts at 2inches to make up the curved plastic indicator. But even if the tape wasn't accurate... The important it's not the measurement per se, it's the pressure applied to the tape when measuring, and that, I can guarantee you it's the same every time you measure yourself, so that way you know if you really lost or gained, and don't doubt the result because of "what if I measured myself wrong last time?" or "what if I'm applying more pressure than last time? Did I really lose?"I really like this tape, it's cheap, serves the purpose and, more than knowing my measurements, I use it to notice changes in my body.

Having struggled on my own to use a regular tailor style measure. I came across this one, and it works great. Good quality, easy to use on your own, accurate, and very portable.I'd really recommend this for anyone who struggles to do body measurements on their own. It's a really handy tool, and good value for money.UPDATE: I've noticed it has started to rip at the top, which is a bit annoying as it only gets used once a week. I've also noticed that it will slip out of the holder whilst measuring which is also quite irritating.

So far, I'm very impressed with this tape.It feels good quality, and has cm as well as ins.If you leave the little peg slotted in, you can just slip it over your arm or leg and press the retract button until it gently retracts to the right measurement. Waists and hips and busts are a bit more challenging, because you can only actually see the result in a mirror. Unless you are a contortionist; maybe you are.The only thing that would make this better for me would be if it were bluetoothed and could send measurements directly to an app, that way I'd avoid having to learn to read numbers backwards in a mirror. I suppose such things do exist ~ but not at this price! This is a nice little gadget, and I recommend it highly.
