Comfortable and hard-wearing, but with a couple of minor disadvantages.Their insole, while offering good padding, doesn't offer much in the way of airation - if you wear them for more than a couple of hours your feet will be pretty warm; a few hours more and they'll be very sweaty. I did order them towards the end of Spring though, so the weather is a contributory factor.The other niggling issue is that they're not for lazy people. My habit is to lace up trainers fairly loosely so they can be slipped on and off without too much effort, but if you do that with these, the curved design of the sole means the back of the shoe will rub up and down against your heel with every step. They need to be fastened anew, tightly, with every wear. A velcro-tie version would be an improvement imo. But like I say, it's my own lazines that causes this issue - normal people probably won't experience this problem!

These shoes are very comfortable, perfect for walking holidays or long days on your feet - except for one thing ! They are not safe in the wet whenwalking on cobbles or slippy surfaces. I think I read another review highlighting this somewhere. It really is a problem and I hope the manufacturersread this review and do something about it as it is a fundamental design fault.

I've been suffering from osteo arthritis in my right foot for a few years now, & could not get any shoe or insole combination to offer much relief. I've recently been issued with an orthotic brace which does do the trick, but it's a bit cumbersome & I can only wear it with one or two shoes. This Sketchers Shape-Up shoe is remarkably comfortable, and its rolling action almost completely stifles the pain I've been getting. The rolling action takes a bit of getting used to, and it's a bit awkward on rough ground, but all in all, these are a great solution. I'm chuffed!

I really like these shoes, but its definitely a matter of taste with shape ups, for me, they are good quality and very comfy (my 3rd pair), but because of their distinct styling and shape you will need to try them for your self

I've had a few pairs of these Shape Ups and I have found them to be a great help in easing my walking with arthritic ankles. I was very disappointed when Skechers stopped selling them in UK and delighted to discover that Amazon had a few for sale. The pair I have just received seem to be just as good as ever and will keep me going for a few more years.

I didn't find these shoes to help me with walking, I ended up selling them to a friend who had toe surgery and could barely walk, but with these shoes he could walk fine.

As per other reviews I had read these shoes take some getting used to but once broken in are wonderfully cushioned and supportive. Not the trendiest looks but I'll suffer that for the amazing comfort!

I would recommend this product to anyone, really comfy shoe, It can be used at your job, when you stand many hours your feet gotta feel a pretty relief on them, It's just like feeling to walk in heaven.
