Hem oodh (agarwood) vs hem mukhalat oudh?

Oodh arum is more naural than mukhalat which smells sweeter and a bit artificial/unnatural.

Is this dipped charcoal or masala?

I snipped off the tip/burn end of one of the sticks and the unscented wood is visible. I assume this means it's scented charcoal, but I can't prove it. I compare it to Japanese hand-rolled incense which has no stick and is solid aromatic resins from end to end.
