Don’t waste your money
When I purchased these chisels they had the claim of “lifetime warranty”. After just over a year of usage I noticed I’d split two of these “split proof” chisels (see pictures).They also became very rusty very quickly, I always keep my chisels dry in a tool roll away from my other tools, I can’t understand why this happened to them. After being deeply upset about these issues I raised it with IRWIN. They have repeatedly shut down my request of a replacement set, claiming that IRWIN UK only has 1 year on hand tools and the lifetime warranty was a US exclusive offer. Don’t fall for the same trap I did, spend your money elsewhere.
