Saved my splitting nails -- no pain
Update: this is a different product now. Nail Repair Natural in the packaging with the black top is the mild version without formaldehyde. If you want the one that used to be called Nail Repair Natural in the packaging with the clear top, that's now called Nail Repair Original. My experience is that the "new" "natural" one is less effective at strengthening, and much more likely to chip off and allow my nails to split. I ordered the original version from the company's website.I left a 5-Star review for the 3-piece Trind kit a couple years ago. I had plenty of the nail and cuticle balsam left but needed more of the Nail Repair Natural and I'm about a third of the way into that bottle, just spot treating now.I've never had professional manicures or gels or acrylics. What happened with me is around the time I turned 30 my nails went from being very strong and flexible to weak and brittle. They would split and peel. My thumbnails would constantly split about halfway down the edge. And my nail tips (I keep them short because I prefer them that way) were constantly splitting and peeling.I tried various polish type strengtheners and when those didn't work, spent a lot of time and money on products to basically glue them back together. Fiberglass and silk wraps, glue, epoxy with activator. It wasn't satisfactory. I tried supplements, asked doctors, was very frustrated.I took a leap with the Trind set. It was $40 which is a lot to me. But I was unable to use my fingernails for anything and had pain associated with deep splits. And Trind was more effective than anything else I tried, other than jojoba oil. It got my nails held together enough that I could then remove the polish for a while and start soaking my nails with jojoba oil, which has been a miracle worker. Now that I'm regularly applying jojoba oil to my nails and cuticles, my problem is 90% better. I use the nail repair to protect the areas around the sidewall of my thumbnails because those still split at times. During the winter I'll coat my nail tips as well. And the nail repair holds better, longer, stronger than other things I've tried.I never experienced any pain and I'm a sensitive, reaction-prone redhead with, let's just say, not a stoic disposition. I wonder if this product is less appropriate for individuals with truly thin nails. I really feel for those who have had horrible experiences with this product. However, I recommend it enthusiastically to those without very thin nails, and with reservation (proceed with caution) to those of you who might have more damage. And please spot-test, everyone, thoroughly. Good luck!

Believe the positive reviews. I was astounded
catmom says:My problems were similar to, though not quite (not QUITE) as bad as "Mrs. Moriarty's." Be sure to read her excellent review BTW. Nevertheless, after suffering a nail infection I had one nail that simply refused to grow at all, and the one next to it had gone on strike too. Other nails were always breaking and they did seem fragile - not to mention dingy. I used some keratin treatment for awhile (CND Rescue RX oil) and that seemed to make the cuticles look better and strengthen the nails a bit, but it was the Trind Nail Repair that really seems to have done the trick. And I did not actually use it as energetically as some reviewers. I was loathe to constantly use nail polish remover. I did apply and take off daily for a few days. Then I would put it on and leave for a couple or three days before removing and re-applying. Recently on a 10 day vacation I just applied before I left town and reapplied when I returned. My nails look lovely. I admit I have also paid more attention to my cuticles - oiling them with coconut oil or cuticle cream once in awhile. But basically this Nail Repair solution has strengthened them and enabled them to grow. I have never used anything like this. I just figured I'm 60-something person with no need to have fancy looking fingernails. But I have to say I love the way they look these days and have no doubt the Trind is responsible. I did not, by the way, have trouble with "sensitivity" but as I say, I had hardened the nails a bit with keratin oil for a couple of weeks. Also for the first couple of times I made sure I used VERY thin layer of Trind.

Nail repair
I have used this on and off for years. It's the best repair I have used. When I keep it on routinely my nails harden and grow. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Product!!!
This product is amazing! I had gel manicures every 2 weeks for about 2 years with no breaks in between. Eventually my nails became so thin and weak that they were splitting and the gel wouldn't even stay on. The nail salon answer was to use nail glue on the splits which didn't really work. I decided to take a break from gel and try to make my nails healthy again. They were so so bad and both thumbs split very far down the middle continually. I work on the computer often and had to use Band-Aids on my nails since it hurt to type.During that time I started taking prenatal vitamins and was searching for a product to help strengthen my nails. After reading the positive reviews, I bought this nail repair. As soon as I put it on my nails stopped splitting and felt stronger. It has been 3 months now and my nails haven't split at all and are strong and healthy. I don't even need to wear the product anymore. It is really amazing how instantaneously this product worked. I would highly recommend this product for Anyone who has thin nails that break and split. Oh and this is a 100% real review I did not receive any discounts.

Nice product
I really like this product I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for leaving two of my nails with white dots, at first I thought it was the nail polish but when I cleaned the TRIND nail polish off the dots were still there.I followed the instructions as they were written and this happened, I like to keep my nails painted close to natural colors or clear to see my natural nail but I cannot do that know because you can see the white dots and it does not look pretty it could also be that I hit my nails and it could have pushed my nails apart in the place were the dots are but honestly I don't know. But I will say that TRIND nail Repair is amazing on making your nails extremely strong after applying three to four coats of the TRIND nail repair polish(REMEMBER one coat of nail polish each day do not bulk up four or more coats of nail repair in one day) each coat for each day thats how you build up, you do that for two weeks and then after one coat every week. This product is on the pricy side but it works beautifully and fast if you want your nails strong.

Very good!
Before buying this I had acrylic nails, as my own nails were (and always had been since a child), flaky, peeling, splitting, papery, well overall in a terrible state (hence the acrylics!).A friend of mine, who also wore acrylics for about 10 years, bought this product after she decided she couldn't afford the acrylics any more.... so it was on her recommendation that I bought it. She promised to pay for a new set of acrylics for me if I was not happy within 2 weeks!Wow! It works! I have my own strong nails that are as hard as rock! I can even open a can of pop with them! Yes, I really can! I would have NEVER considered doing that before, the nail would have just bent backwards and split off! Even with acrylics I would never have tried opening a can! I have to file my nails weekly now because they are just so strong! It does make the nail bed very sore tho, so be warned - your nails and ends to be very sensitive the day and day after you apply BUT, in saying that, for me, the sensitivity is well worth putting up with for a few weeks to have nails that do not flake, split and are actually my own!!
