I unfortunately have to blame myself for not reading further. I don't know much about utensils, so maybe I should have restricted my search to pans. I am not sure if it this is because it is a casserole, but it's heavy, and the handles gets hot, maybe this has its usage, but that's not really what I was looking for.

Excellent purchase
We wanted a "fait-tout" pan suitable for an induction hob and oven use, similar to those we have seen in France, and have definitely found it in this! One pan for frying, sauté, casseroles and even for griddling steaks etc. Excellent design and construction with the only nit-pick that the knob could be a shade smaller so that the lid could store upside down in the pan. Highly recommended.

Easily the best cooking pan I've ever bought, here's hoping it's longevity matches its performance.I will be buying more Castey Fundix products.Last review 5 stars January 2016. This review April 1st 2018. April fool's day - they got me, having to buy another pan, the non-stick coating is breaking down in this one. So disappointing.

BEST Multi purpose casserole!
Best multi purpose casserole - easy to clean and great for cooking on stove top and then oven. Have stopped using my usual pots and use this for everything. Planning to buy the smaller size now. Much lighter in weight to manage than cast iron casseroles and more affordable.

Worth the money
Have a smaller pan from same manufacturer and wanted a larger one. I was prepared to spend the extra to get a really good solid pan rather than buy an inferior one. Very happy with it and would recommend it.

DON'T HESITATE!
FANTASTIC PRODUCT,MULTIPURPOSE AND CLEANS IN SECONDS AS NOTHING BURNS OR STICKS.MY ONLY GRIPE IS THAT WATER COLLECTS INSIDE THE HANDLE AFTER WASHING BUT I AM SO OVER THE MOON WITH THIS CASSSEROLE THAT I WOULD STILL GIVE IT 5 STARS AND WILL ORDER THE 24 CM ONE NEXT
