Giesen & Forsthoff Safety Razor in Gold

The razor is really nice. It looks and feels like it’s going to last a long while. Mine included one razor blade to get started as well as shaving essentials provided by Carter & Bond.It may help some people to know that disposable razors would irritate my skin. After a week of use, this has been much nicer on my skin and also gives a closer shave. It does take some getting use if you haven’t used a safety razor before though. The razor itself is small and the handle is very short, which is why I chose this one but if you have big hands it might be too small.

I did quite a lot of research to get the perfect one, and I found it! The long and textured handle is perfect for use in the shower (legs, armits etc) for a lady. I've never dropped it. Very easy to get the blades in and out. I occasionally nick myself while shaving but less so than with a plastic blade. No more plastic, and it's SO much cheaper to get a safety razor than disposable ones. I'm telling all my friends to get one of these!

would not recommend. the gold plating is flimsy and the shave is not robust enough. Cheap and unsatisfactory prepared to Merkur or Edwin JAGGER razors this is poor quality and functionality.
