Does a magnet stick to it? I need completely non ferrous- I work with magnets.** A: The blade is titanium but there is rust between the rear handle and the butt cap. Pretty sure there's some steel rusting there. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great!!! No Rust! No Problems! *by S***Z on September 28, 2014* Fits great in hand and is comfortable to wear. The straps are good and hold even in rough surf (including rip currents). I have worn this on many occasions purposefully not washing it, the blade has no rust or signs there of. The titanium blade takes longer to sharpen then main stream steel blades, but holds the blade well. It doesn't come sharp at all. The sheath is great, at the push of the button it slides out easy, I have had no problems. There were very little specs of rust on the pommel, but none in the blade, it was easy to remove. the gut hook (for lack of a better name) was useless out of box, in order for this to be useful you must sharpen it yourself. The serrations were satisfactory for my needs, which isn't much. After getting out of the water sometimes a little water remains inside the handle, point the blade down and the water will drip out. Over all it is a great knife. I do recommend it for the price! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Solid knife for several years before handle came apart *by J***C on July 1, 2025* Loved it and its rust-free-ness for about 5 years before button malfunctioned and blade entirely fell out of handle.
