These lip gloss tubes are like the type used for lip oils, they have a larger diameter and are shorter than standard. The applicators are larger than normal which I like. The best thing about these is that the tube is curved at the bottom and the applicator reaches nearly to the bottom, so you won’t waste as much product as you end up wasting with tubes that have internal corners at the bottom or applicator wands that are too short. The set also comes with two syringes and four internal caps that help limit the amount of gloss that comes out with the wand. I would love to see these in more colors because I like some of the colors more than others, but it’s a good product.

The reason i bought these is because they said they were made of glass. They are plastic.

I tried to use these for essential oil, because I thought the tube part was made of glass. I realized the lip applicator might not hold up but it turned out that the tube itself couldn't hold up. Within a day it had melted away the entire rubber stopper, and shattered the tube at the top after I unscrewed it. This was just lavender essential oil that generally isn't dangerous to items so I'm assuming it was some kind of reaction to the rubber stopper that caused the problem. The applicator itself was fine and the oil that spilled all over after the tubes broke did not harm skin or the countertop or anything else it touched. So I think these tubes are okay if you treat them carefully as long as you don't use any substance like essential oils that could react with the rubber stopper.
