This portable grill is significantly lighter than the advertised weight of other similar products, which is why I chose it. It's also very compact, which makes it suitable for backpacking and bivouacs. The grill bars and legs are stainless steel, so they should be easy enough to clean. Everything fits in the larger of the two aluminium tubes that hold the bars when in use. It was quite fiddly to put together first time, as there were no instructions included, just a tiny picture on the carton, and it took a bit of head-scratching to figure it out, but once assembled correctly it seems sturdy enough to support a pan or kettle. My only criticism is that the legs look shorter than the 6" stated in the advert, which doesn't allow much height above the coals, especially if pushed into the ground for extra stability. It's a shame it doesn't come with a cover to avoid transferring soot after use, but for the reduced price I paid, I'm happy with it. Recommended.

For £15 this does the job, compared to more expensive and larger alternatives. The compact nature of it makes it useful for camping/travelling and will easily cook a few bits when needed -don’t expect to cook a banquet on it!

Only getting a 3 stars as I have a missing bar which creates a big gap. Overall the item works but found the threaded bolts to not have enough of the thread to really tighten the frame. It will work but it will be loose, not ideal, the main support bars are a lightweight metal but the grill bars are stainless steel and so are the legs. Shame there was no option to advise on missing part. Going to make my own version. It is half the price of others on the market so I guess you get what you pay for. Was a wee bit disappointed as I thot it was gonna be all stainless steel as I thought I was buying the real item but obviously not as its a weird metal!!! So 3 stars yet to try it
