From the Manufacturer HI-DEF NEONβ„’ Color Coated Acoustic Guitar Strings are available in a wide variety of luminescent color options designed to give your stage presence a little extra pop, especially under UV black lighting. They feature a hexagonal core wire and a silver-plated copper wrap wire on the wound strings. The sound is amazing, deep, and vivid Review: Brilliant Blazing Neon! - At first I was reticent about getting color-coated strings, for fear that they'd have a loss in tone and feel "fake" under my fingers. I have a quite psychedelic finish on my acoustic, so I figured I'd take the risk and get some matching colorful strings - if they didn't live up, then I'd just toss them away and go back to my Elixirs. Boy, was I wrong! Amazingly, these strings have a bright and full tone, and remain bright and full for as long as my Elixirs have! I've had these for a while now and play several hours a day with them and haven't noticed any change in tone - it's just as bright as the colors they're made of! Talking about the colors, they glow in black light and have a blazing neon intensity in sunlight. You can see the colors from far away and lend a really cool vibe to your guitar. My only issue with the strings is that they begin to lose a little color in certain areas - mainly where you pick and where the fret touches the string. After a lot of playing they begin to lose their brilliant shine, but that was entirely expected. They haven't chipped or given me any issues other than that though! ## Features - -.011-.050 Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings with K3 Coatng ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00DJU33AW | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,954 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #50 in Acoustic Guitar Strings | | Brand | DR Strings | | Brand Name | DR Strings | | Coating Description | coated | | Color | Multi-color | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,723 Reviews | | Finish Type | Copper | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00600781004794 | | Instrument | Acoustic Guitar | | Item Type Name | Acoustic Guitar Strings | | Item Weight | 1.28 ounces | | Manufacturer | DR Strings | | Manufacturer Part Number | NMCA-11 | | Material Type | Nickel | | Model Name | HI-DEF NEONβ„’ | | Model Number | NMCA-11 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Playing acoustic guitar | | Set Name | HI-DEF NEONβ„’ | | Sound Profile | Bright, Clear, Articulate | | String Gauge | Custom Light | | String Material Type | Nickel | | UPC | 600781004794 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Warrantied against manufacturing defects. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** DR Strings - **Color:** Multi-color - **Instrument:** Acoustic Guitar - **String Gauge:** Custom Light - **String Material Type:** Nickel ## Images ![NMCA-11 Hi-Def Neon Multi-Color K3 Coated Acoustic Guitar Strings - .011-.050 Custom Light - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81u0sHnDrrL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best strings *by J***L on July 30, 2026* Strings are good.
