### ⭐ Requires an unlimited data plan to work.

The device is easy to setup utilising a pre-paid data SIM card. The speed of the 4G connection between the phone and the camera very much depends on the network providers coverage. Please update the firmware on the camera before connecting the 4G device or the connection will continually fail.Once the connections been established between the 2 devices the images are clear but the 2 way audio is useless.Well, that’s about it until you park the vehicle and get bombarded, and I mean bombarded with notifications that the camera has been triggered. The other reviews cover this in more detail but basically you will need an unlimited data plan for this device to work that would cost around £30.00 per month. That’s £360 a year!! just to monitor your car when it’s parked, not forgetting the amount of time it will take to check each notification to see if your vehicles been damaged or tampered with. After just 48 hours I gave up and promptly returned the device for a refund.My vehicle insurance premium costs less than this so I have no idea what the developers of this device we’re thinking when they designed this product.If the device is redeveloped for impact detection and live viewing then I would most definitely reconsider purchasing the device again.

### ⭐ Useless for motion detection parking mode

The main reason for buying this is to provide additional functionality in parking mode, but it is currently unusable where the camera is in motion detection mode.The software behind it is not fully developed and does not allow you to configure what type of events are uploaded to the cloud or what types of events are notified on your phone. For example, you cannot have the camera in motion detection mode (recording to the SD card) but have it only notify you or upload data to the cloud for a collision (rather than every single motion detected).Instead the camera and LTE module will notify you of every single detected motion event, and for each of these it will upload a snapshot image to the cloud at a rate of about 1.5 Mb per minute or more if you are parked on a public road. You have no control over this. This very quickly consumes SIM data and unless you park in a private garage you would need an (expensive) unlimited data plan to cover the upload of these snapshot images, and your phone would be constantly pinging notifications serval times a minute for every passing car or pedestrian.When raised with Vantrue’s customer support, their suggestion was to update the app (makes no difference whatsoever), and either turn off notifications altogether (which would still need an unlimited data SIM as this has no impact on what the module choses to upload) or only use in collision detection mode, all of which seriously limit the usefulness of something that is supposed to enhance parking mode rather than restrict it. Funny how the marketing omits to mention any of this.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Make sure camera is on latest firmware first

Placed EE sim into unit, green leds active for signal. Confirmed Internet was active by connecting to LT01 as a hotspot, Internet connection confirmed to be fine. When trying to activate via the vantrue app, it keeps failing, so I can't see dash cam etc. Turns out e360 dashcam needed latest firmware then activation was successful.
